Harvest Hello's Fun Fold card

Karen made this adorable card for our September Flowerbug's Team swap.  She used the Harvest Hello's bundle, seen here on page 49 of the Holiday Catalog. Isn't it cute?!

She cased it from another demonstrator but I cannot find the card to give credit. I'll update the post when I do.  It's  a fun fold card where the front flap is a large Stitched Nested label die-cut. The top is scored about 1/2" from the outer edge and folded underneath the Vanilla inside layer.  

The Toile Tidings designer paper is so pretty!  Each sheet is Real Red on one side and Garden Green on the other with gorgeous old fashioned prints plus stripes and check. And as you can see, not just for Christmas! 

Here are the measurements:

• Black card base 5 1/2" X 6 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
• Vanilla inside 4" X 5 1/4"
• Toile Tidings designer paper 2" X 5 1/4" check and a punched 'apple' from the Apple Builder punch seen here  
• Real Red Stitched nested label is 2 1/2" wide

Butterfly Wishes with that 'Pop of Color'

Here's my Navy & White with a 'pop of color' swap for my Flowerbug's Team swap last week:

I chose to use Daffodil Delight as my 'pop of color'.  I have always loved Navy and Yellow together.  It's the color theme for one of my bathrooms too! 

I trimmed off one inch from the edge of my card front and added the Designer Paper to the inside.  Notice the strip of Navy gingham designer paper?  That's from the Neutrals  6 X 6" Designer Series Paper seen here on page 168.  I LOVE that we have designer paper in petite patterns in every single color we offer!! 

You might wonder how I added Navy ink to the edge of my punched butterflies.  After I inked the butterfly in Daffodil Delight ink I added Navy ink with a sponge dauber.  Easy!

Last of the Color Themed swap cards!

Last but not least are these two striking cards from my Flowerbug's Team.  Our swap theme was Navy & White with a 'Pop of color'! 

Margo created this pretty card featuring the Pressed Petals designer paper. She fussy cut part of the designer paper to pop up over the main panel.  That pretty die-cut edge is from the Delicate Lace dies seen here. 

Jacki made this striking card with a pop of Lovely Lipstick with her Navy & White.  Those cool circles are form the Sweetly Swirled stamp set. Click on the highlighted text to see it in my online store.

She added a panel of Navy card stock textured with the Corrugated embossing folder (it's unavailable right now) over the swirl stamped White panel.  This give you a 'peek' of it instead of the background being too busy.  Great idea!

Navy & White with a Pop of color cards!

We're on the 4th edition of the Navy & White with a 'pop of color' themed swaps from my Flowerbug Team!  I hope you're enjoying these fun cards! 

First up today is Kathy's card featuring the 'To a Wild Rose' bundle.  

She added a bit of Old Olive and Blushing Bride to her Navy and White card.  All of the stamps and dies are from the To a Wild Rose bundle seen here.  Gorgeous!!  

Candy made this one and it was her first swap ever!  She did a beautiful job using Highland Heather and Balmy Blue as her additional colors.  The detailed die is from the Stitched Labels dies seen here and the oval is from the Stitched Shapes dies seen here.

Paula made this striking card that adds a 'pop' of Melon Mambo.  

That pretty die-cut is from the Tasteful Backgrounds dies seen here. The greetings are from the Itty Bitty Birthday and Beautiful Friendship stamp sets. 

Measurements:

• Her Navy card base is 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" and scored at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4" so the front folds back on itself. The navy strip on the front is 1/2" X 4 3/4" 
• White - 1 7/8" X 5 1/4" for the front and 4" X 5 1/4" for the inside. 
• The Navy and Melon Mambo pieces are actually Stitched Rectangle dies. They measure 2 5/8" X 4".  

Becky made this one that features the Well Written dies and Artisan Textures stamp set.  What a clever combination! She also used my favorite Nested Stitched Label dies.

Navy & White with a pop of 'Yellow'!

Here are the second group of Flowerbug Team swap cards from the Navy & White with a 'pop' of color theme.  It's so fun to have a color swap; the cards are similar but sooo different! 

They all chose a shade of yellow as their 'pop of color'; either Daffodil Delight or Crushed Curry on their cards. 

Audrey created this pretty card using the 'Thank You' die, the Medium Daisy punch & Daisy Lane stamp set, the Leaf punch and the Basket Weave embossing folder.  

Candace made this wonderful card creating her own background with the Floral Essence stamp set.  She also used the Tailored Tag punch for the greeting and the 1/2" circle punch for her flower centers.  

Wendy made this quick and easy card using the Stitched Labels dies and the Stitched All Around Stamp set.  The embossing folder is the Country Floral folder.
