New Trimmer and Blades Update

Trimmer Blades information from Stampin' Up!

Good news! The final shipment of Stampin’ Trimmer Cutting Blades (item 126995) arrived early. We expected to receive this shipment from our vendor in September and therefore told you we would provide another batch of blades in September. However, because the blades arrived early and we do not want to hold them back from you,  we are going to make these final blades available during the last week of August.

The final batch will be available on Tuesday, August 27, at 10:00 am (MT), and when they sell out they will be gone for good.

To be sure to receive blades we encourage you to place your own order through my online store. In the past, blades have sold out within minutes and individuals placing single orders have had more success than demonstrators placing orders for multiple customers. And remember, the limit is three blades per customer.

New Paper Trimmer

Also, we are excited to announce that we will have a new paper trimmer available for demonstrators to purchase before the end of 2019, which will sell for $25.  We will provide more information when the trimmers arrive in our warehouses.

I would love to order blades for those who have requested them but the last time I had no luck at ordering for multiple customers.  I think you'll have better luck ordering online yourself. BUT be sure to order at 10 am MT on Tuesday, August 27th!  Set an alarm!  Honestly; they will likely sell out again very, very fast!

I am excited about the new trimmer!  We were able to play with the new one on the Greek cruise and it's great!  It's wider than the previous one and the base and arm are sturdier too.  I think we'll all love it.  AND it's less expensive than the previous one too!  Way to go Stampin' Up!!

Here's a card we made at my Team Meeting earlier this month featuring one of the new designer papers in the Holiday Catalog.  It's called Brightly Gleaming because it has lots of Copper foil patterns on one side of each paper.  I chose not to use the Copper side on this masculine birthday card here. 

I am loving these diagonal cards!  I call them Diagonal Duo cards because one piece of  DSP makes two cards. 

How do you make them?? Cut a piece of Designer paper to 3 3/4" X 5" and then cut it on the diagonal.  I eye ball it but you can mark the top left and bottom right at 1 3/4" for a cut line. Use these two pieces to make two different cards!  Add each to a 4" X 5 1/4" layer and add a ribbon or a card stock strip to bridge the two pieces. Then adhere to a folded 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" card.  

The Vanilla layer is stamped with the Everything Amazing stamp set that I cannot get enough of!  It's nice and large and has such great texture.  And I love that you can change the occasion by adding the upper and lower greetings.  And they fit the Classic Label punch!  Popping our greetings up on a card with dimensionals adds layers and 'dimension' to our projects.  I added a few balloons from the Balloon Bouquet punch seen here.

Paula made this striking card that adds a 'pop' of Melon Mambo.  

That pretty die-cut is from the Tasteful Backgrounds dies seen here. The greetings are from the Itty Bitty Birthday and Beautiful Friendship stamp sets. 

Measurements:

• Her Navy card base is 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" and scored at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4" so the front folds back on itself. The navy strip on the front is 1/2" X 4 3/4" 
• White - 1 7/8" X 5 1/4" for the front and 4" X 5 1/4" for the inside. 
• The Navy and Melon Mambo pieces are actually Stitched Rectangle dies. They measure 2 5/8" X 4".  

Becky made this one that features the Well Written dies and Artisan Textures stamp set.  What a clever combination! She also used my favorite Nested Stitched Label dies.

***UPDATE ON PURPLE POSY INK***

In July, we told you we were testing another sample of Purple Posy ink. We’re excited to share that this sample passed our tests!

That does not mean the ink color is ready to order yet; however, things are moving forward. We have placed orders with our manufacturer to begin producing the ink pads and refills. We do not know the timeframe when this ink will be available, but we will update you again in September.
