Create this eye-catching scene with ink and blending brushes; video tutorial too!

Here's another card I created on last week's video. Do you love colorful scenes too? 

Here I used Cloud Cover cardstock for my base; scored it an extra time to create a flap near the center. This is a great way to add the main element of your card.  In this case it's a stamped and colored tree scene on our new Party Banner dies.  

I found the Peaceful Pier stamp set seen here to be perfect for my scenes. It's a great line-art set you don't have to color in, as you can see in my example.

I used these inks for blending; from bottom to top - Granny Apple Green, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight and Cloud Cover. Blending brushes make it easy to add ink smoothly. But there are tricks to it!

How to create a beautiful scene with the Peaceful Pier set; a free project sheet & video tutorial

I shared a video tutorial on how to create this gorgeous scene last week.  

I used the Peaceful Pier stamp set, inks and blending brushes.  

I first stamped the dock and tree images using Black Memento ink. Then added a few more 'grass' images at the bottom. Next you add ink with Blending Brushes.  I used Lost Lagoon for the water, Granny Apple Green for the grass, Balmy Blue and Daffodil Delight for the sky. 

I did color the dock and trees with Blends markers. I did not need to mask anything. As long as you're adding ink lightly with the Blending Brushes you shouldn't need to.  

After I was finished adding color I used the Textured Notes dies to cut my image into 2 pieces. Ad added the frame to a Black CS layer and added the center with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I love the dimension this gives to the card scene.

Amazing Beautiful Motif dies featured on this simple card

 

I shared this card on my Live video last week.  It's a simple fun fold that looks extra special due to the dies I used. 

The Beautiful Motifs is wonderful, mostly because of the extra special dies.  3 of the 5 dies partially cut out and the other 2 do cut out fully (see the pink flower above).

In the photo below you can see how one of the other partially cut dies looks - in the bottom corner inside the card.  What a pretty addition to our cards!

Gorgeous fun fold made with the Beautiful Motifs dies

This pretty card is one we made at my card clubs in May. Look at that texture! 

It is made with the Beautiful Motifs, Impressions Abloom and Arches dies.  The greeting stamp is from Blooming Phrases seen here.

My colors include Cloud Cover, Secret Sea and White.  Here's how it opens: 

The inside layer is folded and the arch is applied through the window on the front.  It's hard to show in the photos but you'll understand when you watch the video below.

A fun layout with the Impressions Abloom bundle; with free project sheet!

I shared this striking card on last week's video.  It has a color combination I love! 

The colors include Summer Splash, Strawberry Slush, White & Darling Duckling.  It features the Impressions Abloom bundle seen here.  

I love the split view of the stamped panel. I did this by stamping first and cutting it into thirds afterwards.  It's simply 3 1/2" X 4 1/2", cut into 1 1/2" panels.

The Impressions Abloom bundle has it all; floral and greeting images with fabulous, coordinating dies.  I'll be sharing a another card made with it this week.

Impressions Abloom In Color card with free project sheet & video

I shared this pretty card on last week's Live video.  We made it at my card clubs in May.  

It features two of our newest In Colors - Strawberry Slush and Darling Duckling.  The card base is Summer Splash.  I think these colors are fabulous together. 

The Strawberry Slush layer was embossed with the new Pressed Flowers embossing folder.  It's part of this suite and can be seen here.  

I popped up the stamped oval and adhered the stitched frame flat. I added our new 2025-27 In Color flat pearls. They're awesome and can be found here.  They come in the previous In Colors as well. 

The Impressions Abloom bundle has it all; floral and greeting images with fabulous, coordinating dies.  I'll be sharing a few cards made with it this week to convince you how great it is.  

This stamp set is both a 2-step set and distinktive which means it gives multiple hues of color with one inking.  

Look at the Summer Splash flowers on each card. They're different. The card on the left was done by not matching up the flower images. It gives the look of a fuller flower compared to the card on the right.  Lots of options!

Pretty Florals fun fold card with video tutorial & free project sheet!

Here's one of the cards I shared on last week's video.  It' features lots of new products from the 2025-26 Annual Catalog. Yay! This catalog & lost of new product goes live tomorrow! 

My colors include Misty Moonlight with Timid Tiger and White.  The floral stamp set is called Pretty Florals and will be available on May 6th. The greeting is from the Blooming Phrases set.  

I believe this fun fold is called a diamond fold.  It starts out with a 11" X 4 1/4" card base with two score lines.  Where the diamond layers are added is the second score line.  Simply trim off the excess on the left side of the diamond layers.  *watch the video here to understand

This is one of those cards where the video helps you more than a tutorial does.  Please watch the video below to understand how this fold works.

Beautiful Plaid card featuring the Grow with Love bundle

I shared this pretty card on a recent video.  I made it for our Team swap which had a plaid theme. 

It features the Grow with Love bundle seen here.  My colors include Basic Beige, Old Olive and Lost Lagoon - taken from the pretty Timeless Plaid layer. 

The basil and stamped frame are all done with the Grow with Love dies.  The greeting is from the Mixed Label dies. I did sponge the edges and the leaves with Lost Lagoon ink.  The herb images in this set are so pretty and have Stampin' Up!'s distinktive style which shows off multiple hues with one inking.  The coordinating dies cut off the herb names; a great option if you do not want to include them.  

The pretty embossing folder is called Dashing Designs and can be seen here. I'm so sad it's retiring!  This textured piece is made from our 2-toned Olive 12 X 12" card stock. When embossing this white core paper the texture reveals the white core just enough to enhance the texture.  I could have sanded it to reveal even more texture but I did not.

Easy Wildflower Birthday fun fold with free project sheet & video tutorial

I'm excited to share this card with you today.  

It's a type of Z-fold but different than I've seen before.  With two quick score lines you have an easy & unique card fold! I love how this card gives you three ways to show off our coordinating DSP.  

I featured the Wildflower Birthday specialty designer series paper on these pretty cards.  It's filled with floral & birthday prints with splashes of gold foil.  It also comes with 2 sheets of die-cut elements as shown below which allows for super quick creating.  See it here.

Here's how the cards look fully opened.  For greetings I used the So Sincere which is retiring & Simply Said which is carrying over.
