Gnomes are a big thing right now! They're everywhere; even on cards. I saw a few online and had to make some on this week's Facebook Live. Each Tuesday at 11 am CT I make a few Stampin' Up! projects.
They're quite simple to make; you can use punches or add some dies to create them.
The left card gnome is made from two Pine Tree punched pieces; for the hat AND the beard! The body was fussy cut and the nose is from the Elephant Builder punch. I drew the mouth with a Black marker. The Stitched Nested Labels were used as the background. The designer paper for the hat, body and strip are from the Night Before Christmas pack in the 2019 Holiday Catalog. The greeting is from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set; seen here.
The right card is a bit more work; as I used the Layering Oval dies to create the hat and the body.
To make the fun hat you cut out one big oval from designer paper. Then use a smaller one to take a 'bite' out of the right side. I added a bit of Curly Red ribbon with a glue dot and a Glitter Enamel dot at the tip.
I fussy cut the 'lots of love at Christmas' greeting; this is also from the awesome Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set. The designer paper for this card is the Wrapped in Plaid specialty paper; also in the 2019 Holiday catalog.
Below is the video from my latest FB live. You'll also see a cool present gift card and a unique and simple Christmas ornament.
