Here's a card I made with the Tidings all Around stamp set seen here. 

I used Old Olive to stamp the leaves spray multiple times in a circle.  Tip: place a small punched circle in the center of your square to get a nice stamped circle.  The berries are stamped in Cajun Craze and added Shimmer Crystal Effects to some of the berries. 

The greeting is from the Seasonal Wreaths stamp set which also coordinates with the All-Around Wreath Dies.

The designer paper at the bottom of this card is the Perennial Essence. The twine is from the Come to Gather ribbon combo pack seen here.

Measurements:

• Old Olive card 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
• Perennial Essence DSP 2" X 4"
• Cajun Craze 4" X 4"

Beauty & Joy card; cased from the Holiday catalog

Do you ever get ideas from the projects pictured in our catalogs?  I sure do!  

I wanted to use the Beauty & Joy stamp set for my Retreat stamp a stack and ideas weren't coming to me. So I checked out the projects in the catalog and I was inspired by this card on page 51 of the Holiday catalog.

And here's what I came up with.  

I inked the leaves image in Crushed Curry and sponged on just a bit of Cajun Craze ink directly on the stamp before stamping.  

The Brick & Mortar embossing folder was used on the Cajun Crazy layer.  I sponged just a bit of Cajun Craze over the textured card stock after it was embossed.  

I've always loved topiary's and because it's a Distinktive set I had to get it.  I also LOVE the font in the greetings! 

Measurements:

• Crumb Cake card 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
• Cajun Craze is 2" X 5 1/4"
• White 2 1/2" X 3 1/2" plus a 1/2" X 3" greetings banner
• Early Espresso 2 3/4" X 3 3/4"

Framed Snow Front Card

If you're following my blog you know that the Snow Front stamp set is a big favorite of mine.  I absolutely love creating scenes with stamps!  I cannot paint or draw so I stamp!

We made this pretty 'faux framed' card at my September Card Clubs. 

We die-cut a stitched rectangle window in the front of the Soft Suede main card first.  Then added the Birch background stamp to the 'frame' using Crumb Cake ink.  I wanted to save the Soft Suede stitched rectangle die-cuts for another future project; without the Birch stamp on it. 

Then we could place our stamped scene inside the front of the card adding it with dimensionals if we wished to. 

I chose to use Shaded Spruce ink to stamp the trees and land, Soft Suede for the 'naked' trees and deer.  I sponged the water with Pacific Point and the sky with Pool Party.  There's a sure trick to getting smooth sponging as a background.  Please watch my video for my best sponging tips. 

I kept the inside very simple; ready for the perfect greeting or writing a note. 

Measurements:
- Soft Suede main card 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
- White front 4" X 5 1/4"; inside 3 1/2" X 4 3/4"

Gather Together Season of Thanks card

The Come to Together suite has beautiful colors in it.  This week I've got a few cards to share with you featuring these products.

WE made this card at my Fall Creative Escape Retreat stamp a stack this weekend.  

The colors are chosen from the Come to Gather designer series paper in the background.  They're Pretty Peacock, Cajun Craze, Pear Pizzazz and White.  Click here to see the paper.

We used the Gather Together bundle on page 47 of the Holiday catalog.  You can see it here. 

 

Once the large leave was stamped on the stitched circle it was colored with a Wink of Stella pen.  The glitter in the pen spreads the stamped ink around a bit.  No need to add extra ink! 

The twine is from the same suite; it's the Come to Gather Ribbon Combo pack seen here.  

Measurements:

• Pretty Peacock card 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" 
• Come to Gather Designer Paper is 3" square
• White layer is 3 1/4" square

Harvest Hello's Fun Fold card

Karen made this adorable card for our September Flowerbug's Team swap.  She used the Harvest Hello's bundle, seen here on page 49 of the Holiday Catalog. Isn't it cute?!

She cased it from another demonstrator but I cannot find the card to give credit. I'll update the post when I do.  It's  a fun fold card where the front flap is a large Stitched Nested label die-cut. The top is scored about 1/2" from the outer edge and folded underneath the Vanilla inside layer.  

The Toile Tidings designer paper is so pretty!  Each sheet is Real Red on one side and Garden Green on the other with gorgeous old fashioned prints plus stripes and check. And as you can see, not just for Christmas! 

Here are the measurements:

• Black card base 5 1/2" X 6 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
• Vanilla inside 4" X 5 1/4"
• Toile Tidings designer paper 2" X 5 1/4" check and a punched 'apple' from the Apple Builder punch seen here  
• Real Red Stitched nested label is 2 1/2" wide

Make beautiful scenes with Snow Front!

The Snow Front stamp set makes scene building quick and easy!  See it here. My gals made this card at my Holiday Catalog open house a few weeks ago.  

I chose to use Shaded Spruce and Soft Suede here.  Well there is a touch of Smoky Slate and Real Red too.  The stamped layer is 3 1/2" X 4 3/4" and the Shaded Spruce layer is 3 5/8" X 4 7/8".

When building a scene like this one I recommend starting in the center of your card with the land or horizon.  Then stamp up or down from there.  I did use a mask on the cabin, stamping that before the trees so it would appear in the foreground.  The 'path' is stamped off first in Smoky Slate ink. 

After the card was done, we used a bit of our new Shimmery Crystal Effects for snow and sprinkled that with Ice glitter.

Apple & Pumpkin treat boxes

You can make some CUTE and quick treat boxes with the Apple Builder punch! 

I created these on my weekly Facebook Live two weeks ago on September 3rd.  You can see the videos here. Scroll down to September 3rd's video.

I stamped and punched two apples AND two pumpkins with leaves and stems.  Then I created the box to sandwich each pair.  The boxes are made from 3 X 3" pieces of card stock. Score them at 3/4" or 1" on each side and cut two sides to form a box.
