Hostess Appreciation Party!

We had a good time celebrating at my annual Hostess Appreciation Party last week. Everyone who hosts a workshop with me during the last year is invited. I enjoy finding ways to spoil them and thank them for their support of my business. 

We sure missed those that couldn't be there!  I treated them to dinner & dessert, their spiral bound catalog and some gifts & prizes too.

These bags were full of extra goodies including hand made tissue holders, a highlighter and tabs for their new catalog and a ribbon share. 

I'll share the template for these tissue toxes in another post!

This was their favorite gift!  My husband does the spiral edging and adds a pocket insert too!   I have three extra spiral bound catalogs ready to give to those who book the first 3 workshops in June & July!

I should have taken a photo of the meal and dessert.  I served thee types of Quiche, Strawberry almond salad, garlic toast and cheesecake with a chocolate dipped strawberry on top.  I LOVE spoiling my hostesses!

I made these cards with the new Delightfully Detailed laser cut designer paper.  It's incredible!  I trimmed the 12" sheet into usable pieces for these cards and only used about a quarter of one sheet!  The greetings are from the Love what you Do stamp set.

Share What you Love Sampler with kit to go option

Super cool 'You Move Me' interactive card with video!

 It's genius how these images flutter when you pull the card up!  It looks like it would be extremely difficult too.  But it's sure not! 

The You Move Me bundle is retiring on May 31st so if you like interactive cards you will want this bundle!  

I chose to use Peekaboo Peach with Black, White and Calypso Coral.  The greetings are from the Ribbon of Courage stamp set. 

Here's the video showing you just how to make this fun card with some great tips on using the Stamparatus too!  That amazing tool will be available to everyone on June 1st!!

New! Combining In Colors & 'Love What We Do' items

Look at these cards made with the new In Color inks and the Love What We Do stamp set.  

I didn't have the matching card stock when I made these cards so I had to improvise.  I stamped the background with the single stamp image four times to frame the textured White layer.  This embossing folder is called Lovely Floral and it's a Dynamic folder so it gives extra deep embossing.  It's available in June separately but right now it's part of the Gotta Have it All special bundle.  You can see that here or below. 

I also colored the 1/8" White ribbon by sponging it with the ink.  This works wonderfully if you don't have the matching ribbon.

One Wild Ride & Best Badge Punch

Here are a few more swap cards from my Flowerbug's Team from our May card swap. Our theme was masculine cards.....

It's ironic that both of my Candace's chose to use the One Wild Ride stamp set! 

Candace K added a real map on her card which is super clever and so fitting.  She textured the Silver Foil paper with the Hexagons embossing folder.  The greeting coordinates with the Best Badge punch which is retiring next week!  

Candace F made this card using Crumb Cake, Basic Gray and Pacific Point.  This stamp set also coordinates with the Bunch of Banners Framelits so she was able to die-cut the greeting.  I love that stamped background; it looks so textured and a perfect addition to this manly card.
