Quick Treat with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch & A Good Day

We made these at my Team meeting this weekend.  They're super fast & simple!!

The Bermuda Bay card stock is cut at 2" X 7 3/4" and scored at 1", 3" & 3 1/2".  Punch both ends with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and fold up.  Insert your candy/treat and wrap the ribbon around it tying it into a bow. 

Next add the designer paper to the front and fold the flap down securing it with a glue dot.  Then stamp your greeting and other image from the 'A Good Day' stamp set in Black ink and punch out.  I used the 1" circle, the 1 3/8" scalloped circle and the 1 1/2" circle punches.  The largest is punched from our  Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper.  Layer these together with dimensionals and adhere.  Done!

Beautiful Bouquet; sponged!

We made this pretty card at an event on Saturday.  I called it my Sale-a-Bration Celebration!  It was a party that a few of my Team members and top customers were invited to celebrate a fun and successful Sale-a-Bration.  

We had lunch, made a few projects and they received a few special gifts that I'll share soon. It was fun to be able to thank and spoil them a bit!

 

There's very little stamping here; just a greeting on the front and a bit inside.  Most of it consists of the pretty die-cuts in this bundle.  By the way this bundle is retiring but the individual items are carrying over.  

Also the Brick Wall embossing folder is retiring!  I'm so sad about this one as I use it a lot.  I know other folders are already out of stock so get this NOW if you don't have it!

Color Revamp Clarification

You've likely heard that Stampin' Up! is switching up their current color line this year.  It's called a color revamp because it involves a significant number of colors LEAVING and a significant number of new colors joining our core family colors.

In order to keep bringing you the most current and on trend colors, they decided it was time to give our color collections a makeover. With this revamp, you’ll have new products and a wonderful variety of shades that will inspire creativity and allow you to explore and enjoy your crafting. 

 

I am super, SUPER excited about all of the new colors we'll get to play with.  Honestly I am so ready for a big change like this!

I will share more about the new In Colors in the coming weeks, but right now, I think the most important thing for you to know is that there are quite a few colors leaving. Also, we have a new Stamp Pad Case design. Beginning on June 1st, all the inks will come in a new case.  It will still have a flip top lid but with a simpler opening mechanism. This is why all the inks are listed on the retired list. Not all the inks are retiring, but the case design is. The current ink refills will work with the new ink pads!

Four Panel Fun Fold Card

We made this pretty card at my Fun Folds card class in March.  Each month I hold a Fun Folds card class.  I'll share this month's cards with you tomorrow. 

It folds up into a regular A2 sized card - 4 1/4" X 5 1/2".  There are tons of layers on this card!  

 Here's a peek at the back: 

You could add a belly band around it but I like the way it stands up so well due to the multiple panels.  I started out with 12 X 12" piece of Black CS.  Here is a free project sheet for you with all of the measurements and supplies listed.

April's Technique Class

Once again I had fun playing with new and old stamping techniques to create this month's Technique Class.  There's just something satisfying about discovering new ways to use my stamping products.   

The fun techniques this month are super cool and easy too!  You don't need any unusual products to create these awesome cards; just the basics!  The techniques include Black Ice,  Celestial Background, Chalkboard and Curtain Fold.

Beautiful High Tide Sampler

My friend Ella made this gorgeous sampler at our Spring Retreat a few weeks ago. 

She found the idea on Pinterest and made it specifically for a home decor piece to match her room colors.  The astounding thing is that she created it in about an hour!  

I'm sorry but I don't have the measurements for you.  Besides the High Tide stamp set she also used the Hardwood background stamp. Besides Navy and Smoky Slate the other colors she used are Daffodil Delight and Wild Wasabi.
