More Amazing Sketch Cards.

February's Flowerbug's Team swap was a sketch challenge and here are more great cards my gals made using this sketch:

First is Marilyn's card featuring the Party Panda's and the Picture Perfect designer paper. 

Next is Annette's card where she features the Beautiful Peacock stamp set and Sweet Soiree designer paper. 

And here is Becky's card.  Can you tell she loves bright colors?  She used the Magical Day bundle and the Tree Builder punch here.

Team Sketch Challenge

This month our  Team swap was a sketch challenge.  Here's the sketch we were inspired by:

Here's Jacki's card. She used the Truly Tailored bundle; I love this suite of products!  You can see them here. 

Next it Candace's card.  She used the Myths & Magic Suite of papers and the Beautiful Peacock Sale-a-Bration stamp set. 

And here's Karen's card.  She chose to use the Bubble Up bundle which coordinates with the free Sale-a-Bration Bubble Up designer paper.  

And lastly for this post is Kathy's card.  She chose to use card stock and the Petal Burst embossing folder.  

Isn't it fun to see the many variations on the same sketch!?  I really do like to work with sketches; they make it easy to create with.  If you haven't tried stamping from a sketch use Pinterest as a guide.  Try this one.

Sweet Soiree cards

One of our free choices this Sale-a-Bration is the Memories & More card pack.  It's filled with 72 pretty cards filled with sayings, flowers and patterns.

Here's one of my favorites.  I did add a greeting from Rose Wonder stamp set (stamped on a piece of a card from the kit), a length of ribbon and a fussy cut flower (from another card) to finish it off.  Once you play with these Memories & More cards I think you'll feel inspired to create!

More Springtime Florals from the new Sale-a-Bration brochure

Look at this gorgeous Springtime Foils specialty designer paper!  It's full of beautiful foils including silver, gold and rose gold.  It's one of the new FREE options with a $50 order during our Sale-a-Bration promotion. 

Here's one more card using this gorgeous specialty designer series paper; Springtime Florals.  This time I fussy cut one of the flowers and leaves for this pretty card. 

I chose Fresh Fig as my card base.  I added a 2 1/2" strip of textured card stock using the new Petal Pair embossing folders.  A bit of ribbon and a greeting.  Such a pretty and quick card to make.  

The greeting is from the new Blossoming Basket SAB stamp set; heat embossed with white embossing powder.  That pretty tag is die-cut using the Petals & More thinlits in the Occasions catalog.

Epic Celebrations & Celebrate You Thinlits Color Blocking card

 This is a fun color block card we made at my February card clubs using the Sale-a-Bration Epic Celebrations stamp set.  You can earn it free with any $50 order from now through March 31st.

I also used the Celebrate You Thinlits and the Amazing You stamp set. Both of these are also free choices in our Sale-a-Bration catalog.   I love the bright colors and easy layout here.  I have no idea how I came up with this color combo of Navy, Crushed Curry and Berry Burst but I love it! 

You could use any stamp set you own with this fun layout, using assorted stamps for the backgrounds and a main greeting image/die-cut.  This is the type of card layout that inspires me; it will work with many types of stamp sets.

Measurements:

• Thick Whisper White card base - 4 1/4" X 11", scored at 5 1/2"
• White layer 5 1/4" X 4" & 2 3/8" stitched circle 
• Crushed Curry 2 1/8" X 5 1/8"
• Night of Navy 2 3/4" X 1 3/4"
• Berry Burst 2 3/8" X 1 3/4"

Floral Statements & the Blends!

If you love flowers.....and if you love to color too...., then you'll love these pretty cards! 

I stamped a bunch of these pretty images from Floral Statements using Memento Black ink onto our Whisper White card stock.  Then one day when I just didn't feel like 'thinking or creating' I colored.  I didn't even have a plan for finished cards; I just colored using our amazing Blends markers.  Later I trimmed them up and added a black mat and placed on a coordinating card. 

**Stampin' Up! just posted that our Blends markers are out of stock at this time!  They will be back as soon as they receive more in.  Stay tuned! 

Measurements:

• Main card 5 1/2" X 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
• White - 3 1/2" X 4 5/8"
• Black - 3 5/8" X 4 3/4"

Celebrate You meets Birthday Wit!

 Here's an awesome Birthday card using the Celebrate You Thinlits & Birthday Wit stamp set:

It features the Bubbles & Fizz designer series paper & Shimmer Ribbon; two more choices from our FREE Sale-a-Bration line of products. The colors here are Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Lemon Lime Twist and White.  

This card is a bit of an unusual fold.  The White main card is cut short and the banners are adhered between the Bermuda Bay layer and the White card.

The inside has a fun birthday greeting from the Birthday Wit stamp set in the Occasions catalog.  I stamped it once on the card in Calypso Coral ink.  I cleaned it off and stamped it a few more times in Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist ink onto White CS.  Then I fussy cut the pieces out and added them with mini dimensionals.
