I was playing around with some Valentine card ideas for kids and came up with these:
I chose to use these stamp sets - No Bones about It, Work of Art and the new Sale-a-Bration set; Epic Celebrations. Here is the inside view of these cards:
I chose a color theme of Black, Real Red and Lemon Lime Twist. They are all 3 X 3" cards which fit inside our 3" square envelopes. These are still currently available; they're carried over from our Holiday catalog. Item # 145829. They fit perfectly in our Mini Pizza Boxes which are also still available. You can see the carryover list here.
When I make 3" square cards I start out with 12 X 12" paper. I score it down from the top at 3" and 9". Then cut the sheet in half at 6". Then cut each 6 X 12" piece into four 3" X 6" pieces. You get eight 3 X 3" square cards from each sheet!
I also made a cute candy treat bag too. I chose to use the You're So Sweet stamp set. I thought it was perfect here.
This clear cello bag is one we used to carry; I believe it's 3" X 6". I have a ton left!
Do you have a child you'll be making Valentine's cards or treats with? I am holding a little class for kids and their adult helpers this Sunday at 2 pm. Let me know if you can make it!
