Do you ever have lots of little strips of card stock after you cut out for a project? Sometimes I just cannot throw them away. Especially when they're as pretty as these! Our newest In Colors are some of my favorites.
So I started out by playing a bit, adding the 1/4" strips to some random pieces of White card stock in a few different ways.
Then I finished them up using stamps from Watercolor Words set:
On the card above I wove the 7 strips of Fresh Fig and Lemon Lime Twist together at just the left corner. Rhinestones finish it off nicely. It's a 4 1/4" square card. The White layer is 4".
Here I used Lemon Lime Twist with Berry Burst and a pop of Black. The oval is die-cut from the center of the Lemon Lime Twist layer. Fun card!
I ran this piece through the Big Shot using the Garden Trellis embossing folder. A stamped Oval and a bow and it's done!
I hope you're inspired to use your left over strips of card stock. It was a fun challenge!
