So...... I have a confession to make; I am spoiled. Yes; really I am! My older siblings said it when I was young and I think it's still true today! I have the best, most generous group of stamping friends I've ever heard of!
Here's an example: While I was away on the 2016 Incentive Trip my group of gals worked really hard in my studio (and at their homes) making samples for my upcoming catalog Open House. **For some reason I scheduled it for just 3 days after I got back!
And they made tons or incredible projects too! Like I said; I am spoiled but I love it! I jokingly call them 'my committee' which isn't far from the truth! Besides helping me make samples like you will soon see; they also assist me at many of my events like the Open House, scrap-booking weekends and my big annual Stamping Rummage sale. They are truly remarkable and a huge blessing to me. Thank you girls!!!
These are two cards the very talented Marilyn made for my In Color display:
Gorgeous; right?!
She die-cut the Bloomin' Heart thinlit from the top layer of White CS first. Then she cut another White layer for under it and sponged the new In Colors onto that piece. She adhered it to the colored card stock first; then added the White main layer and added the die-cut in the window. She die-cut the pretty flowers that come with this thinlit in the new In Colors.
The greeting is from the new Thoughtful Banners bundle; a stamp set with a ton of greetings and the new Duet Banner punch. Here's a close up:
Now you can probably figure out that there's a second layer of White card stock under the Heart thinlit that she sponged ink onto. Above are the new Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy colors.
Thank you Marilyn for creating such beauty and allowing me to share it with everyone.
Measurements:
- White card base - 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
- In Color layer - 4 1/8" X 5 3/8"
- White die-cut layer - 4" X 5 1/4"
These are so beautiful! You are certainly spoiled, you lucky girl! LOL Hopefully someday when I don't have a day job, I can enjoy more stamping and have a "committee" of stampers to help me out!
