It's My Party with 3-D Balloons

Well here is another amazing card made by Marilyn for our latest Team swap featuring the It's My Party DSP and Balloon Celebration bundle:

It's also a fun-fold card; a modified gate-fold.  The Black card measures 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" and is scored at 2 1/8" and the front panel is folded back to the left.  The Melon Mambo layer is 3 3/4" X 5" and the It's My Party DSP is 3 1/2" X 4 3/4".  The White oval is 3 1/2" long. 

Can you tell that the edges of the balloons are curved and raised up?  She first punched out the balloons and then turned them over onto our Paper Piercing mat.  Then she used the rounded end of an aqua-painter to get them to curve and pop like this. You will likely find something similar like the end of a permanent marker.
