I promised you a tutorial on how to make this great gift box for A2 (4 1/4" X 5 1/2") size cards. I used the Envelope Punch board; it's super easy! Watch my video below.
The pretty cards are made with two stamp sets and our Subtles backgrounds designer paper. The flowers are from the Flowering Fields Sale-a-Bration set and the sentiments from the Rose Wonder set in the Occasions catalog. I stamped the flowers using our Black Archival ink and colored them in with Subtles markers.
Here are the measurements for the cards:
- White main card 5 1/2" X 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
- White stamped layer 3 1/4" X 4 1/2"
- Black layer 3 3/8" X 4 5/8"; black strip 4" X 1/4"
- Subtles Backgrounds Designer Series Paper 3 1/4" X 1"
If you're wondering how I did the thin 1/4" black strip on these cards I used the Banner punch like this:
Box: To make the card box you need a 9 X 9" piece of card stock. Here is a photo of the basic directions but you will likely need to watch the video below to really help you understand them.

Thank you for the video on the box. I loved the cards and the box just brought it all together. I think I have a reason to get the envelope punch board now. Too bad I didn't see this when it was on sale! Great project!
