I held my Hostess Appreciation party on Thursday night and had a blast celebrating and thanking my hostesses. They are so good to host a workshop with me this past year helping me meet new stampers.
We had dinner, browsed the new catalog and I gave them a few gifts too. Wouldn't you know I forgot to take photos of the evening? But I did take a photo of one of their gifts.
I made them little cases from our large wood mount boxes. My husband added the handles to turn them into little suitcases! To do this you need handles and short screws. To make the holes in the cases he used an old fashioned hole punch and hammer like we used to use to add eyelets on our projects. I then slipped in a piece of designer paper to decorate them. They're adorable! I cased the idea from Becky Roberts. They held an assortment of treats inside.
They can use these for so many things; projects in progress, adhesives, bakers twine, markers, washi tape, sponges and more.

I've been getting ready for my new catalog Open House that will be this Tuesday, June 2nd from 4-7:30 at my home studio. I have so many fun things planned!
Everyone will receive their brand new catalog of course. Then they can browse the catalog and displays, eat!, fill out my new catalog scavenger hunt, add catalog tabs if they want to organize their new catalog, stamp the free make and take and take advantage of my free cards/card fronts with any orders. There are also some rubber rummage, specials and lots of door prizes. Whew!
I hope a lot of my local gals can come and I apologize to my long distance customers; I sure wish you could be here too!
