Graduation is the event for many of us this month; even for me. My youngest son Isaac is graduating from college this Friday. We're so proud of him! He's an awesome guy who is fun, kind, talented and respectful. We had to make a choice to watch him graduate or attend the yearly Stampin' Up! incentive trip in Hawaii this week. It wasn't too difficult a choice to stay home!
I had him in mind when I created this card. Congratulations Isaac!
I wanted to use the single wood stamp 'Class of 2015' but since my Card Club gals were also making this card I opted to offer them a choice to use the soon to be retiring Starburst Sayings stamp also. Some did not need a graduation card this month so the 'Oh Happy Day' greeting can be saved for another year.
I have quite a few things I love on this card; first is the fun pennant shape, next is the way you can choose any color you need by adding a ribbon and one marker color. Next it's the inside background; heat embossed with a trick! And last - the super easy gift/money insert inside the card.
Watch my short video on how to make this unique pennant shaped card.
Remember that you can make cards like this at home simply by opting in my Cyber Card Club. Place a monthly order from my store and get two 'over the top' cards like these mailed right to you; free! Email me at [email protected] to ask me about this option.
The cards are gorgeous! I just cased you this evening using the 2015 set. I swapped out the Bravo set for another set that I have. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful set of cards!
