First up are the graduation open house invites I made for my son's college graduation this year. I wanted something manly, eye-catching yet easy to mass produce. I think I nailed it!
I used the 'Class of 2015' single stamp from the Occasions catalog with the Circle framelits. Then I die-cut a banner from our Silver Foil paper with our Banners Framelits collection and textured it with the Zig Zag embossing folder.
Do you see the unique background? I did a fun technique using the Triangles embossing folder. I inked one side of the folder with our Silver Encore ink and stamped it on the Black card stock. You can do this by inking the folder, adding your card stock, close the folder and run your brayer over it. Instant and unique background. You can make this as bright as you want. I found that one inking can be transferred quite a few times. The one on the top right was fully inked and the left one is after a few pieces were 'stamped'. Think about your embossing folders in a new way!

Next is a fun box made with the envelope punch board; it looks like a lip stock box but it's a bit bigger. It's big enough for quite a few candy treats anyway! It would be perfect for wedding or party treats.
I used the beautiful Gold Soiree dsp for the upper two boxes and Crisp Cantaloupe card stock with Mother's Love stamp on the lower box.
It starts with a 6" square of designer paper or card stock for the main box. Then I used the Envelope Punch Board to punch and score it. It's hard to explain in words so I suggest you stop back in for the video tutorial on how to make this easy, easy box. It's coming out this week; in just a few days. Stay tuned!

Next is a set of colorful note cards I made using just one stamp set; Birthday Bash.
You'll find this cute photopolymer stamp set in the Occasions catalog on page 13 (US). I used just three colors of ink here; Bermuda Bay, Real Red and Crushed Curry. For the two cards on the right I stamped the main image once, cleaned and re-inked it in a second color to stamp it on a piece of scrap Whisper White card stock. I cut the 'celebrate' and 'just for you' banners with my paper snips and adhered them over the first image. You can see how I stamped the outside of my envelopes; they're in the front of the cards here.
Using a package of note cards, one stamp set and three inks is a great and cost effective stamping kit for anyone but especially a beginner. You'll need to add on a clear block or two, adhesive and a package of rhinestones too.
Here is a photo of how I stamped the insides.
This was a fun project and would make a great class too!
