Happy Thanksgiving!

Wishing you a wonderful and Happy Thanksgiving today.  I hope you're spending it with family or friends and enjoying a day to be thankful for all of the many riches we have.  Many of us lead a blessed life. I am reminded of that lately when two of my men were in separate car accidents in the last month or so.  Neither were hurt and at least one of them could have been very, very bad.  I am so grateful for my family. 

Here's a few photos of my adorable granddaughter Eliza at her 1 year birthday party.  Time has flown!  We're on our way to spend the long weekend with them and my sons too.  Love our family time!

Festival of Trees Class to Go

I am offering my December class to go earlier than I usually do for two reasons.  First I want you to have it in time for last minute Christmas cards.  And two, I am having knee surgery in mid December and will likely be taking the latter half of the month off. 

Don't worry!  I'll still be posting tons of things on my blog here and will be answering emails too.  Maybe not quite as fast as normal...  But I can't leave the stamping world cold turkey! 

Here are four of the beautiful cards for the Festival of Trees class kit to go:

The fifth card in your kit will be a surprise to you! 

NEW!  ***I am changing the way I offer my classes to go to stay in compliance with Stampin' UP!'s policies.  I now will ask that those who want the cards kit (that is usually mailed out together with the stamp set of the month) order the bundle from my online store.  Then I will send you a $7.00 paypal invoice for the card supplies and send them to you in the mail.  Your stamp set will come from Stampin' Up! in your order so you won't have to wait for me to send it to you!  It's may seem like a bit more work for you to order it yourself but it will actually save you shipping costs in the end so your cost will be lower.  I hope I explained that well! 

When you order the Festival of Trees bundle (or any other product at around $28.00 in value) for the Class to Go from me you'll receive the pre-cut supplies needed to make all 5 cards shipped directly to you (or pick them up if you're local). You will use your own new stamp set and your supply of ink pads or markers to finish them like mine.  I will texture anything needed and include other punched pieces and all embellishments also. Then you'll receive the photos & step by step directions sent in a pdf document via e-mail.

The best part of doing the Class to Go projects is that you'll have 5 great ideas for your new stamp set in the future!  Isn't that what most of us need - creative design ideas?

Noel Punch Art

Check out this card!

Chanda made this for a swap at Convention this year.  Isn't it pretty?  She is very creative and is great at thinking outside the box.

She punched a 1 3/4" circle from the top layer of Very Vanilla and under it she slipped a 2" piece of card stock that she adhered strips of washi tape to for the 'O' or ornament.  She used Beach House and Watercolor Wonder washi tape here.  The top of the ornament is a 1/2" circle punch I believe.

The letters are die-cut from our Gold foil paper using the Perfect Print Alphabet Bigz dies.
