This is one of the first ideas I had when I saw this beautiful stamp set, Gentle Peace. It's the newest photopolymer stamp set. See it here.
I heat embossed the image with Silver embossing powder on our Vellum card stock. Then flipped it over and colored with my Stampin' Up! markers on the reverse side. Then I hand cut it out and adhered it to a layer of Whisper White with glue dots and hand cut that White layer out too.
So pretty! This photo doesn't do it justice. The card base is Lost Lagoon with So Saffron and White layers.
I used quite a few marker colors:
- Mary - Lost Lagoon, Coastal Cabana, Soft Suede, Blush Blossom,
- Joseph - Pear Pizzazz, Baked Brown Sugar, Soft Suede, Blush blossom
- Jesus - Smoky Slate, Blush Blossom
- Window - Soft Sky, Hello Honey, Daffodil Delight
- Crowns - Crushed Curry
This is the best card with this image I have seen yet. Love it!

Simply stunning LeeAnn. It really has the look of glass. I love that you did it with the SU markers too. I haven't dipped into Blendabilities yet so it's great to see such a beautiful card done with the tools I do have. Thanks for sharing the tips and the colors used. You rock!

LeeAnn,

LeAnn,
This care is stunning. May I has the amount of time it took to make? Would it be too much to mass produce 30 of these?

This is beautiful! Love the embossing ... Makes it really look like stained glass! And the markers give a softer look than the Blendabilities do. Great job!!
