Welcome to another Freakin' Fantastic blog hop - this time it's all about Christmas!
You may have arrived here first or came from Connie Babbert's blog but just keep clicking on the links at the end of each post to see all 11 stops.
For me stamping at Christmas time means I can really add the bling - so you'll see lots of sparkle, shine and glitz on my projects.
First is a cute card we made at my friend's workshop last weekend:
When preparing for the workshop I couldn't decide between two of my newest stamp sets - Endless Wishes (sorry, it's unfortunately sold out today) or the Best of Snow so I combined them into one card. Do you like the color combo? Real Red, Bermuda Bay with White and a little bit of Crumb Cake. It's pretty sparkly in real life due to the 2-way glue & Dazzling Details.

Next up - inspired by my friend Penny Thomas, I finally make one of these beautiful frames!
I found the 8" square shadowbox type frame in the scrapbooking area of my local hobby store.
My friend Pat and I really enjoyed making this; it was fun to find things that would fit in these 1 1/4" punched squares. We browsed through my stamp sets, designer paper, punches and doo-dads. We focused on colors and size. After we put together a few squares we picked our favorites from the bunch.
You might think - wow; she used a lot of Silver Glimmer paper! I didn't! I first cut my pieces to size and then used my paper trimmer to cut out the center. The Silver Glimmer and the Winterfrost striped paper are just frames. You'd never know right?! I love to save paper that way! So we punched out the 1 3/8" square punched Glimmer pieces from that saved square.
Of course I chose colors to coordinate with the gorgeous striped paper from the Winterfrost Specialty dsp; you can see in a thin line on the outer frame. We also used Silver Encore ink, Coastal Cabana, Island Indigo, Pool Party & Bermuda bay ink to match. And lots and lots of rhinestones!
I doubt I'll offer this as a class (unless I get a bunch of requests;) but I will share the directions and details below for you later this week.

Next is a card we made at my Card Clubs this month.
I love the elegance of a White card and when you add a bit of silver or gold it really notches it up. The pretty layered poincettia (Joyful Christmas in the Holiday catalog) is our Vellum card stock embossed with white embossing powder. The circle was cut out with our Circle Framelits and everything is popped up with dimensionals.
This card was also my swap for my Advisory Board retreat in September.
Thank you for stopping in to see my Christmas projects! Now you're off to see what Connie Tumm has to share with you. Enjoy the tour!
Absolutely gorgeous cards! Love the all white card. If you know of anyone selling their ENDLESS WISHES set please let me know! I missed out!!! :(
