Welcome to another fabulous Blog Hop featuring the amazing Control Freak Swappers! This time we're featuring projects with new Holiday Catalog products.
You may have just arrived from Justin's blog or directly on mine, but keep going to see all of the unique projects we have to share with you. It's just 10 stops this month.

This card using the Magnificent Maple single stamp was a swap card I did for our Fall Swap. I love this stamp! There are so many great ways to use it and color it! Here I inked the stamp in Crushed Curry ink, then sponged on a bit of Tangerine Tango around the edge and lastly I sponged a bit of Espresso ink just on the very outside edges.
The bit of twine on the brad are strings I pulled from my Burlap ribbon. The 'just because' stamp is from the 'A Dozen Thoughts' set in the main catalog.
And do you see the textured background? I used our new Stylish Stripes embossing folder on the Espresso layer but after I ran it through once I flipped it over and did it again getting a neat 'plaid' texture. Too fun!

Next up are these gorgeous & clever butterflies:
I received one like this in a swap at Convention and fell in love with it. She had a pin back secured to it so I was able to wear it for most of Convention. So many people admired it and even though I wore a backpack much of the time it held up wonderfully to the wear. I added a magnet to the back of the upper one.
These are made from Designer Series paper! Here I used our new Witches Brew dsp on the top and Winter Frost on the bottom. I'm sure you noticed that beautiful Frosted Finish embellishment on the lower butterfly right? They are just stunning! See them on page 28 of the Holiday catalog.
***I'll share the free template and tutorial for these on my blog later this week!

Next is a very easy Halloween card:
Can you see I used the same embossing technique here as I used above. The stamp is from the Tags 4 You set which coordinates with the Label Bracket punch. The designer paper is the Witches' Brew on page 21. Simple & fast!

And now you're off to see what unique projects Mary Brown has to share with you. So sit back and enjoy!
LeeAnn-Love Love your butterfly. I hope I remember to get your template and instructions for making it. I am always amazed at how all of us make cards, scrapbook, etc. using the same materials and no two are ever a like. Just like quilting. Congratulations on a successful tour.
