I have a cute idea for you to try if you have a tag punch.
I used the largest tag punch still currently in the catalog but the smaller tag punch would also work and make a slightly smaller medallion. This is the Comfort Cafe designer series paper in Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Vanilla.
You will need 8 punched tag shapes to make this medallion. Fold them as above. Bring the bottom right corner up to the top left. Then bring that same corner down to meet the fold.
Start by placing one of the tags so it is even with an outside layer of your card stock and then keep adding each folded tag so the sides meet but are not overlapping. It took me a bit to get it right. My Cajun Craze cardstock is slightly less than 4" wide here.
The center is a 1" Crumb Cake circle punch with a Cajun Craze button in the center. The greeting is from Curly Cute stamp set.
***I cased this idea from Debbie Henderson.
