I am so excited to share this gorgeous project with you!
I saw a similar wreath on Pinterest made in summer colors with flower accents and despite how I love flowers I wanted to make a fall wreath made with our Rosette Bigz XL die. This die is on page 194 of the main catalog. I chose my colors from the Orchard Harvest designer series paper in the Holiday catalog. Island Indigo, More Mustard, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso and even Raspberry Ripple.
I wish you could see it in person! I did use some of that same designer paper on a few of the rosettes. I finished most of them off with circle punches (front and back) and buttons. Can you believe I didn't add any ribbon to this wreath?
For the leaves I used the new Autumn Accents leaf Bigz die along with the Woodgrain embossing folder.
The base is a shallow metal floral wreath base. I adhered it all with hot glue. The largest rosettes are adhered first and then the small ones are tucked in here and there with the buttons and leaves added last. It's about 18" wide.
It did take about 4 hours for my friend Pat and I to make this wreath together so it will not be offered as a class. But I do hope it insipires you!
I'm just lovin' this Rosette die! You can watch the video on how to make rosettes here:
