I can't wait to show you this card! It was one of my Club cards for July.
It's a tri-fold shape and is so easy to do. It fits into a business sized envelope. They could choose between Rose Red or Baja Breeze.
I started with a 12 X 12" piece of card stock. You get two cards from each piece. On a 12" X 12" card stock, make a mark on one side at 8 1/4". Then on the opposite side make a mark at 3 1/4". Now cut across on the diagonal to meet these marks. The nice thing is you have enough paper left to get one more card from the 12 X 12" piece. I scored my card stock at 4" and 8" for the tri-folds.
Next you'll need to cut a strip of Whisper White card stock at 3 7/8" X 11". Lay this onto one of your outside left or right sides where I have mine (stamped already). Make marks on the upper edge of the White card stock so you know where to cut on the angle. The neat thing is that the piece left from this cut fits on the other perfectly. Now you can stamp.
I added a few strips of Midnight Muse card stock on the front side before I adhered my stamped White layers. One 12" piece is not long enough so you have to piece them together.
Here's a close-up of the details on the very front of the card.
Supplies:
- Stamps - Lacy & Lovely, Perfect Punches
- Card stock - Baja Breeze, Midnight Muse, Rose Red, Whisper White
- Ink - Baja Breeze, Midnight Muse, Rose Red, River Rock
- Accessories - extra large Oval punch, Scallop trim and Scallop border punches, Apothecary Accents framelits, sponge dauber, dimensionals, Fancy Fan embossing folder, pearls or rhinestone jewels, Simply Scored
Remember that if you'd like to make cards like this you can either join one of my local card clubs or if you do not live near me, you can be part of my Cyber Card Club. I have quite a few gals who live across the US who are members. All I ask is that you commit for 6 months and place an online order of $30 or more by the 10th of each month. Then I send you a pre-cut kit of two beautiful cards in the mail with detailed instructions of how to put them together. Easy! After 6 months you get a free stamp set from me from my stash of hostess and other new stamp sets.
Thank you so much for including measurements and directions. I saw another card like this one on another blog, but the Demo said the video tutorial would be available only to those who subscribe to something or other that she offers. There were no measurements or anything! UGH! Anyway, I just love this layout and am grateful to you for sharing!

Very fun and cool card! What do you use for an envelop; a business size, maybe?
