I am quite behind in posting many of my samples from my Open House last week. But I'll catch up yet! I held my Annual Hostess Appreciation night last night and with the big Stamping Rummage sale next week it will be another crazy week til then.
I made these for my Open House display. I got the idea and directions from the super creative Becky Robers here.
One of these was a door prize for the Open House event where I added a gift certificate inside. Congrats to Val for winning it!
To see how to make the pinwheels check out this post, towards the bottom.
Here's a side view with a peak at the treats inside.
And here is how it looks once you open it up. It holds a small cello bag full of candy in the little box. It is also a perfect way to give a gift card nestled inside the candy box too.
Here are the directions to make this fun treat box:
- Long outside piece - 3 1/8" X 11". Score at 4 3/4" & 6 1/4". Punch two word windows on each end and use a corner rounder on the outside corners.
- Inside box - 3 1/2" X 4 1/4". Score 1" from each end. Cut up to the fold lines on two ends and form your box. Adhere inside the long piece in the center.
Great gift ideas! I can really use this for Father's Day! Thanks for sharing. I like it!
