I was glad to hear you liked this project! I never knew so many of you would want the detailed instructions and I am sorry I didn't provide them in my earlier post.
Here are a few tips so you can make your own.
I have no idea if all DVD cases are the same, but I used the ones Stampin' Up! offers in their catalog. It has a clear plastic sleeve on the outside that wraps around the front and the back. This makes it easy to slip in a piece of double sided patterned paper that is pretty on both the outside and the inside.
That striped paper on the left inside is covering one of our A2 envelopes (5 3/4 X 4 3/8") which forms a pocket for receipts, postage stamps, cards, etc. I sealed the envelope and cut off about 2" from one end. Then I cut a piece of patterned paper the same size as my envelope pocket and adhered them together. Then I used my scallop edge punch on the open end. In hindsight I wish I would have used a circle or oval punch on the scallop edge in the center so you can see to reach inside the envelope easier. I wrapped ribbon around this piece before adhering it to the inside of the case.
I purchased my notebooks at a big box retail store. Office stores also have these. They will need to be cut down to size; the office stores do this for you for a small fee. I added a bit of matching patterned paper to the top of the notebook binding for a pretty detail. I also left the notebook loose instead of adhering it to the case so the user could remove it to write in it easier.
You could also get RSVP pens and insert matching patterned paper inside them to coordinate.
By the way, the stamped images on the front are inside the protective sleeve. This stamp set I used for this project is one we received at Convention last year and has not been available since.
Thanks for your great response to this project! I hope that helps make the envelope pocket detail easier to understand!
This is so clever and what a great gift idea for teachers or anyone. Love it!!

I love these! What size are your notepads? Did you find them already in the correct size or did you have to get them cut somewhere?
THanks for sharing such a cute/clever idea!!

Thank you! Is the stamped image on the outside or inside of the cover?
