It's not punch art as usual today but I thought those who haven't made their Easter cards yet you might like this one; especially if you do not own any cross stamps like me. It could be adapted easily for a Communion card also.
As you can see it's very simple to make. I used SU's wood sheets to cut a few 1/2" thick strips for the cross, sponged them with Soft Suede ink and adhered them together where they meet in the center. I added a piece of Perfect Plum taffeta ribbon with mini glue dots. This card is cased from Aislinn Chapotelle, seen on our SU demo website.
Supplies Used:
- Stamps - Delightful Dozen
- Ink - Perfect Plum, Certainly Celery for sponging the edge
- Card stock - Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz
- Accessories - Perfect Plum 3/8" taffeta ribbon, Boho Blossoms punch, Bird Builder punch, mini glue dots, Pearls, Framed Tulips embossing folder, Big Shot, sponge daubers, Wood sheets
Awesome card! Love your clever idea using the wood sheets for the cross and also how you draped the ribbon across it. TFS!
