It's very sad that you're home is gone. A flood can be very severe with the damage it brings, and it brings no joy whatsoever. However, it's great that you have a positive attitude about it. You'll get back on your feet, and someday you'll have a garden that you can be proud of.

The pictures of your backyard are gorgeous -- I feel for you, even if you don't want me to be sad for you. I love that you've got your stamping to keep you busy though! If you do decide to add to your flower garden, wherever that may be, I'll send you a daylily (I have about 20 different varieties in my garden, which is pretty self-sufficient so I also can stamp!). Thanks for always sharing your beautiful work with us!

Thank you so much for the update Leeann. I can't even imagine the emotional roller coaster this has all been. You, your family, friends & neighbors are in our thoughts & prayers. You are so blessed to have wonderful friends to stay with. It is amazing to hear about such love & support. Stay strong & know when to lean on your family & friends. We are all thinking about you.

Sharon S.

I hope the city decides soon what they are going to do.... Next to having your home destroyed, the wait has to be the hardest part. My prayers are with you.....

Oh wow you home is gorgeous. I am sorry but I am very sad about what your going through. I cant help it. I am glad you have a great place to stay through this though. I hope your home again soon.

Linda Peterson

I really appreciate your update. You have been in my thoughts a lot.

LeeAnn, my heart just breaks for you all. Your friends are wonderful - what a blessing! I don't understand how the city can ask you to put time and money into the 'repair' of your home until they have a plan. Seems foolish to me, but what do I know... Girl, you are a pillar of strength, and you will get through this, you will move on. It will never make sense why something like this happened, but your family bonds will be stronger than ever, and you will just have more blessings to count. Thank you for sharing with us! Hugs and blessings...

Thanks for the update LeeAnn. What a great idea to put pics of your garden in your new home! I loved meeting you at convention (while you were doing your punch presentation.) I love your work and find a lot of inspiration in it. Stay positive and keep stampin!

Thanks so much for the update. I have been thinking about you so often and wondered with each new post what was happening with your home. God be with you in the days and decisions ahead. What to say...I'm just so sorry.

You are so lucky to have such a dear and wonderful friend. Your garden was so beautiful. I'm sure things will work out for you and you'll have another beautiful house and garden in the future. Thank you for the update. I'm glad you are still able to continue your stamping and posting. Will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you for sharing with us. And what wonderful friends! We lost our home in a tornado in 2003...my dream house, but soon realized it was just a place to keep our stuff. We moved on and are so thankful that we were not hurt and so thankful for the kindness of our friends. I love your attitude and know that God will bless you many ways.

Also...I used the scrap kit I purchased from you recently in a Scrapbook in a Day workshop last week and it was a great success. Thanks so much for this valuable resource. I will be back for more! Blessings, Diane

Hi Leeann, thank you so much for the update. I think of you often, and often wonder how things are going. You are still in my prayers as you slowly start over. Extra hugs sent your way miles away!
