Here are some more photos from convention with a card using punches at the end.
Here's another stage shot showing you the beautiful colors that changed each time.
Here's how they announced the next Incentive trip called the Grand Vacation. Dancers chanting a song that ended in........................
Yes; I am now working on earning a trip to the exotic island of Fiji. Unbelievable!
Here are a few of the displays using the new Flirtatious line of Stampin' Up! fabric:
They always do a fantastic job on their displays. Unfortunately I did not take many photos this year. I was so busy visiting and attending classes that I missed a bunch.
But I sure have lots of my own samples to share with you.
This is one of the cards I had on my punches display board. Nothing too tricky here. I punched three Triple Layer Doily solid punches to place behind the Lace Ribbon border punched piece. They work together wonderfully. Fast and simple too.
If you're wondering where I got the Pool Party narrow taffeta ribbon, I made it. Just sponge some Pool Party ink over our Vanilla taffeta ribbon and you get Pool Party ribbon! Of course it would work with white ribbon also.
To make this bow you need three pieces of ribbon. One long one to go across the card, one medium length to form the loops of the bow - basically one circle of ribbon secured together at the ends with a mini glue dot. And one very short piece to wrap around the circle in the middle - this little one pinches the circle together to form the two loops. Secure with mini glue dots.
Island Indigo is beautiful with our new Pool Party isn't it?
Just a reminder that our monthly Control Freaks blog hop is tomorrow!!!! So come back then.
LeeAnn: I loved the card, loved the idea of the trip you can win to Fiji, love how you did so well this last year, and really loved the photo of the dancers!!!! Thanks so much for sharing your convention experience! I was a demo. for a short time many years ago and got to attend convention 1 time, but it was nothing like it is now. Its so nice that you share your experience with everyone (& hopefully it provide some incentive!!!). My thoughts & prayers have been with your throughout your flood ordeal....I just can't imagine...God be with you and continue to give your strength. Thanks for all you do for all of us! - Stacy
