Here are a few cards made with the Sale a Bration set called Sweet Summer.
We made this cute and easy card at some of my last workshops.
We stamped the images using Black Stazon ink. This is waterproof & will prevent bleeding when you color. We colored most of the images in with markers with the exception of the two side flowers. We used a red water color pencil on it. If you color just the base of the flower you can bring the color up with a Blender pen. This is an easy way to get a pretty two-toned or blended look.
It's hard to see but we sprayed the entire card with a mixture of Shimmer Paint & rubbing alcohol.
Colors are Real Red, Black, White & So Saffron
The 'thank you for being you' is from the Bold Blossom stamp set currently in the Occasions mini catalog.
This card is almost a total case of Julie B here. But it is such a beauty I had to show you.
I haven't used Perfect Plum in a long time. Pairing it with the Old Olive really works doesn't it?
The little flowers are colored with Perfect Plum ink - my favorite method is picking up color from the lid of my ink pad with an aqua-painter. A blender pen works well also. These flowers are cut out and popped up with a dimensional.
Once again I used the ribbon gathering technique with Sticky Strip adhesive. The 'for you' is just a strip of white card stock cut out by hand and snipping a notch in the ends. I folded it over before and after the 'for you' & added it over the edge of the gathered ribbon with dimensionals.
So there are a few examples of why you may want to get this stamp set, Sweet Summer. It's only available a few more weeks as part of Sale a Bration. Best yet - it's free!!
This is a great card. I love the colors, the way you put it together. It is really lovely. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

No wonder you do what you do, you are AWESOME. I love to make cards from your ideas, if I don't have a stamp set you suggest I improvise. I worked on the Ice Cream Parlor 16 cards from "One sheet Wonder". I'm making another set for my sons teacher for Teacher Appreciation in May. Thanks for sharing your ideas even though we don't know each other.
