Punch Art Purses

It's another Punch Art Wednesday! 

I know I haven't been posting my Punch Art each week, but I am hoping to post something at least every other week for sure.  My excuse - not a lack of punch art, just a lack of time! 

Guess how I made these?

Do you recognize the punch I used?

It's the new Build a Cupcake punch! I cased the basic idea from Carrie Gaskin. 

I used the cupcake liner punches to make the bags & two circle punches to make the flap & handles.  I always think Red, Black & White really pops, don't you? 

I first punched the small circle from the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack.  Then I punched a 3/4" circle punch around that leaving just a narrow bit left for the handle. The flap on the bag is also one half of the 3/4" circle punch.

Supplies Used:

• Stamps - Favorite Thoughts (Retired set from the Summer Mini 2010)
• Ink - Black
• Card stock - Black, Whisper White, Real Red, Play Date dsp
• Accessories - Scallop trim punch, Itty Bitty punch pack, 3/4" circle punch, Create a Cupcake punch, Perfect Polka dots embossing folder, Big Shot, 1/8" narrow Black taffeta ribbon, Rhinestone jewels, dimensionals
