Here's another lovely Christmas stamp card. 

This is one of the cards we did at my last Christmas Stamp a Stack this month.  The colors may appear different but it is Elegant Eggplant, Very Vanilla & Brushed Gold.

We embossed the dove & flower image using Gold embossing powder on Very Vanilla card stock.  The Vanilla side panel is textured with the Petals a Plenty embossing folder.  The scalloped trim adds a pretty touch to this edge. 

Notice the flap on the envelope is textured with the Petals a Plenty embossing folder.  A very special touch to your hand stamped card. You won't find many of those in your local card stores!

Pacific Petals

Here's an easy card you could mass produce pretty quickly.  And with this layout it certainly wouldn't have to be a Christmas card either.

It's made with the Scallop Circle die by placing a folded card onto the die with the fold 'under' the top few scallops in the cie-cut circle.  This leaves the fold intact but the rest of the card scalloped. 

The White circle is cut with the Clear Circle die & then embossed with the Petals a Plenty embossing folder.

Punch Art Snowflake Tree

I saw the cutest idea for a punched tree made by Rosemarie on the SU site & gallery for demonstrators so I had to case it.   Here's my card:

I punched 3 1/2 snowflakes using the Extra Large snowflake punch in Wasabi card stock.  The tree trunk is hand cut from Chocolate Chip card stock.

I cut the snowflake punched pieces into smaller pieces & just layed them out over the trunk adding a piece here & there to form a basic tree shape.  May of them are single or double ends.

It's hard to see in this photo, but the snow hill has 2-way glue & Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the torn edge.  I seem to be using this trick a lot this year.

Deck the Halls!

In the Holiday Mini catalog you'll find the most beautiful Designer Series paper ever.  It's called Deck the Halls.  See what you can make with  just one 12" sheet?

Yes, just one sheet of 12 X 12 patterned paper & you get all of these!  I got the idea for this from Deann Oliver.

I used Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke & Very Vanilla card stock & an assortment of ribbons & lace in the same colors. 

It's a little tricky to cut up the 12 X 12 sheet so you get each of these words intact.  I wish I'd made a template to make it easier for you!  But I just started cutting the sheet up & seeing what I could get from it.

This card started out with a strip of extra patterned paper across the top, but I added one color of the seam binding over it & l kept adding until I had all three colors! 

And see the beautiful punched poincettias?  They are made from the left-overs when you cut out a Lattice die-cut.  My smart friend Pat showed me this trick. I used Champagne chunky glitter for the flower center.  Just press a mini glue dot in the center of the flower & sprinkled it with the glitter.

As you can see I also used lots of the little sticky pearls all over these cards.

Tri-Fold Photo Album

I am thrilled to show you this uniquely special album.  It's the last project in my 4 Pack of Presents.  Look!!!

The outside is gorgeous isn't it?  You just cannot go wrong with this beautiful 'Elegant Soiree` designer series paper.  But look at the inside!

It's a Tri-Fold Photo album.  The perfect way to diplay those treasured photos you want to look at over & over again.  

Consider a baby album, a vacation memory book or any other special occasion like graduation, anniversary etc.  

It measures 6 1/2" square.  The center is for that favorite photo you want to high-light.  And you can add at least ten 4" X 5 1/2" photos.  They flip up so you can view them all.

Scrappin' Halloween

Here's what we did at Scrapbook Club in November.

My helpful husband/artist Andy drew the tree for me.  We traced it onto Chocolate Chip card stock & cut it out. Then we ran it through the Big Shot using the woodgrain Texture Plates kit #4.   To get even more texture, rub the textured surface with a Chocolate Chip ink pad.

We used lots of Sizzix dies for this one.

• Little Leaves sizzlits for the tree
• Leaves  #2 for the colorful leaves on the left page
• Spider web embossing folder to add texture to the leaves - such a cool look!
• Pumpkin #4 & Pumpkin Faces sizzlits

And for the title we used the baby wipe technique with Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive & Cajun Craze ink refills.  The alphabet set is an old favorite retired set of mine.

Colors are Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, with More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Always Artichoke. 

The ghosts are made with the 2-step Owl punch; just cut off the feet & turn it upside down.  We added googlie eyes on each of them.

The punched circles on the tree are meant for photos or journaling, but I didn't take time to finish mine. The patterned paper trim is from the Holiday Mini DSP set called Autumn Spice.
