I thought I'd post a photo of my favorite new way of decorating a pumpkin.
We've had this 'fake' pumpkin for a few years & usually just set him out for the fall holidays. We also have a few artificial ones that we've carved too. But this is my new favorite.
I used the Spooky Things Decor Elements. You get a set of 10 images for $14.95. And they aren't small either! This pumpkin is about 15" tall. It was quite easy to get the images transferred to the pumpkin.
I used three of them here - two spiders & the 'trick or treat'. Then I added a few swirls from the Designer Jewels in Black Fourish. You can find both of these products on page 8 of the Holiday mini catalog (US).
The jewels come with a transfer sheet that you press them onto when you want to keep their curved shapes. Pretty easy & quick.

And, I've received a Blog Award from my friend Debbie Naylor! I've been lucky to have met Debbie at a few SU events. Check out her blog. I've gotten tons of inspiration & ideas from her.
As a recipient for this award I am supposed to tell 7 things about myself that you may not know & also pass the award on to 7 others.
1. The thing I am most excited about right now is that I'm getting a new Stampin' Studio! I've been teaching classes from my living room & working in my dining room (pictures will be posted later!) so we are thrilled to be getting this space! My amazing husband has done almost all of the work on this!
2. I am a registered nurse - I work very part-time in our town's Free Clinic & am about to start another very part-time job in Home Health.
3. I've lived in North Dakota all my life. Now you know why I love to travel!
4. I get a bit consumed (or should I say obsessed) by things. Whatever my passion is at the time gets almost all my time & attention. I've done lots & lots of crafts, but nothing has lasted as long as Stampin' Up! I just love it!
5. Gardening used to be a huge passion of mine. (Stamping has now taken over.) We have two fish ponds - one with a stream & small waterfalls in our back yard. We just cleaned them out this weekend & found tons of babies - koi & shubunkin.
6. I am the youngest of 5 children & none of my 3 sisters stamp!
7. I am a night person - I am quite sluggish in the am & get energized at night. Don't call me before 9 am!
Enough about me.....
Here are some of my favorite bloggers & friends. Be sure to check them out - they are fabulous stampers & I have been lucky to have met many of them at various SU functions.
1. Kay Kalhoff - Stamping to Share
2. Vicki Burdick - It's a Stamp Thing
3. Connie Babbert - Inkspired Treasures
4. Ann Clemer - StamperDog
5. Tiffany Bauer - My Crafty World
6. Gretchen Barron - Inspiration in Action
7. Debra Currier - Artfelt Impressions
Thank you so much, LeAnn, for picking me to be a part of this award! I loved learning seven new things about you. Can't wait to see pictures of your new Stampin'Studio!!
Hugs -
Kay
