You may have just arrived via Cindy Major's wonderful blog. Fun & unique projects Cindy!
We're featuring products from the new Summer Mini catalog this month & I really had a hard time deciding on just which ones to showcase.
I was so excited to get this stamp set - it's the Level 2 Hostess set called 'Punched Posies' in this Mini. Flowers & Punches... mmmm, well I knew it was created just for me of course!
I cut the main Rich Razzleberry card with my Big Shot & the SU Scallop Square die, leaving the fold inside the die-cut line on one edge. I mounted it onto a 4 1/4" square of white card stock for contrast.
See the flower centers? The Shapes Punch Pack match the Itty Bitty Bits stamps which match the Bitty Buttons - - all I can say is 'Thank You Stampin' Up!! Love these!
If you look at the curved stems on my card & then at the stamped images in the catalog, you may wonder how mine are curved since the dotted stems are straight. Well I just mounted mine in a curved shape onto my wood blocks. I adore curves, so I had nothing to lose mounting it this way.
I kept the inside view fairly simple. Just a few punched flowers from the Itty Bitty Bits stamp set & the Shapes Punch
Pack.
Colors are Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie & Old Olive.

Next up is our new & amazing Builder Wheels. I think this was the most exciting thing for me in this Mini catalog. SU is soooo clever!
It took me a week or more to decide on my first color combo for the Triple Cell ink cartridge. Then I bought 2 more so I could play with more combos.
This new product is so neat because there are little plastic dividers to keep the ink in each 'cell' from running into the others. You get three distinct colors in a cartridge! I think these will be great even on our regular jumbo wheels.
I used Tempting Turquoise, Real Red & Night of Navy in my first one. How easy is this to get fantastic borders for a card or Scrapbook page?
I inked the 'Birthday Block' image in Versamark & embossed it with White embossing powder on my Real Red card stock. Then I did another partial image on Navy for the extra little candle accent. The curved border on this piece is one half of a Top Note.
Oh, I cannot forget to mention the little candy treat basket to go with the Birthday card.
I used SU's Scallop Square die again - cutting out one Turquoise square. I used the Happy Birthday single Builder Wheel along the outer edges. Score it 3 scallops in, along each side. Then score from each corner to the first scored line. Punch holes in each corner & thread ribbon through to gather. Insert a lollipop or fill it with other candy for a fun treat. I added a layered scallop under it for fun.
And here is a simple card using our newest stencil, Mostly Vintage, on page 13 of the Summer Mini catalog.
This is a quick & easy card with a bit of Wow too. Note the pearl in the center & the Vintage tag tied onto the Old Olive ribbon. I sponged Old Olive ink over the stencil on Vanilla card stock.
See the shimmer? I used the Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz, spraying 'through' the stencil so the shimmer is just on the stenciled image.

Wow, you're making me see this hostess set from a different eye! I didn't really care for it one way or another before, but seeing it stamped in colour like that makes the world of a difference! I love the Bitty buttons used in the flowers' centre!
Love the color combo on the second projects as well.
Nicely done!
