Awash with Flowers 4

Here's the 4th example I have for this wonderful stamp set.  I really did not know I'd like it quite this much!

 

It's a Flip Flop card!  We made these at my Card Clubs in April.  They had a choice of Pixie Pink or YoYo Yellow.  Fun, bright & happy colors - perfect for our 'Spring's Here!' mood.  We're all ready for a little lift around here in North Dakota!  It was another long & snow-filled winter.

I'm not sure you can tell in the photos, but the Pixie Pink card has Iridescent Ice embossed flowers & the YoYo Yellow card has Clear embossed flowers. 

Here's a close-up view.  We stamped the outline images first in Black Stazon (my favorite black ink for every purpose, by the way!).  Then added a bit of color to the flower bases & stems with markers.  Next step is to stamp the solid flower petals in Versamark & emboss with either clear or Iridescent Ice embossing powder.  Like I've said before - this is one set you do not have to line up perfectly - it all looks good!

You can get this Sneak Peak set only during April for now - in either clear mount or wood mount.  But it will be one of the new releases when the big new Catalog comes out on July 1st.  Are you getting anxious for it like me????

Notice the texture of the card base?  We used Texturz plates kit #4 on the entire main card.  Yes, you can fit this whole card on the Texturz plate!  The template for this fold is smaller than a 5 1/2 X 8 1/2" piece.  Here's the template.

It's really the right one this time!   

Flip Flop template

We added a few butterflies cut out with the Beautiful Wings embosslit on our cards.  You really want to get this one.  Getting 5 butterflies die-cut at one time is awesome!  SU is so smart!

• Accessories - Fiskars paper cutter with scoring blade, Scallop edge punch, heat gun, Clear & Iridescent Ice embossing powder, markers, Beautiful Wings embosslit, Texturs Plates #4, Big Shot, Black gingham ribbon, 2-way glue & Dazzling Diamonds glitter for the little butterflies
