...... no, not 'Roll' - Punch! Sorry - I just couldn't resist!
I used 'scraps' to make my punch art today. Well to be honest, I usually do use scraps, but this time is different. I used the extra card stock included in the 'Love Bots' kits. There is so much leftover Pink & Blue patterned paper after you punch out the Valentine boxes.
See those scallops? I made those by punching our SU Scallop punch around where the white heart circle was - it comes already perforated to punch out & use on the Love Bots. *see above photo.
Anyway, I sat there & looked at these scallops & thought I should make something for Punch Art Wednesday with them! So here is what I did:
Isn't it just sweet? Although this photo does not do it justice - I think I need a new camera - it took me 30 pics to get one this good!
I think baby cards are so fun to make! Soft pastels, ribbons, scallops & now with a cute shaker baby rattle.
I used the Circles #2 die to cut out two pieces of window sheets & adhered them onto my scallop punched circles. Added SU dimensionals all the way around one of the scallops & sprinkled a few beads inside. Sorry - this mix of SU beads are retired!
Then I sandwiched the two scallop circles together to make a shaker.
The handle on the rattle is a stamp from the new set 'Something Sweet'. I inked it in Versamark, stamped on Bashful Blue card stock & embossed it with White embossing powder. I actually embossed it a few times - kept adding white EP so it was nice & thick. Then I cut it out & adhered it to my shaker scallop.
The yellow gingham paper is from the Pawsitively Prints dsp pack - this is on page 40 of your Occasions mini. It isn't pictured, but was in the Holiday mini catalog.
- Stamps - Well Scripted, Something Sweet, Tiny Tags
- Ink - Versamark
- Card stock - Bashful Blue, Pawsitively Prints dsp, Whisper White, Barely Banana
- Accessories - Satin white ribbon, Jewelry Tag punch, Scallop circle punch, linen thread, White embossing powder, heat gun, Circle die #2, Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder, Scallop trim border & corner punches, beads, dimensionals, window sheets
So. Get a load of you. Whence dost thou jog, in your hawt Chairman Mao outfit and your uspeakably chic black Crocs with matching soccer mom man-purse? Are you sprinting from a grease fire at Dunkin Donuts? Did you just hear of a twofer sale at Tents for Tanks, a discount emporium for the fashion-conscious sperm whale?
