I've been in a 'hearts' mood lately so I pulled out my heart punches for today's Punch Art project.
Here's the result. ***Click on the photo to see it more clearly.
It's an unusual color combo isn't it? Real Red, Black with Soft Suede. Very, very rich! So rich it seemed to need a bit of shimmer. Too back the photo doesn't pick this up well!
I spritzed the two panels with Champagne shimmer paint mixed with alcohol. If you haven't done this yet, you've just got to try it! Instant & beautiful glitz - but so much softer than glitter.
Mix 1/2 tsp of Champagne Shimmer paint with 1 1/2 - 2 oz of rubbing alcohol in a small spritz bottle. You can get these in the travel section. It's best to use around 70% alcohol. I place my paper (ribbon works too!) on a piece of newspaper & just spritz from at least a foot away. It all depends on your spray bottle - if it sprays out fine or direct. I like to test mine first on the newspaper each time I spray.
Anyway....! To make the heart pop-ups - I punched 4 hearts of each size & scored them down the center. Then just glue them back to back & then flat on your card stock.
