I wanted to make a non- Valentine this week since I've been using Pink & Red quite a bit lately! So flower petals from the wings in our new Extra Large 2-step Bird punch seemed just right today.
You may need to click on the photo to see it clearer - I am having issues with my camera lately! Getting a clear photo is such a challenge!
I punched 12 wings from Whisper White card stock & three from Olive card stock to make the flower. For the flower center, I first punched out a 1 1/4" circle from Pumpkin patterned paper & then ran it through my Big Shot using the new Scallop Heart of Hearts embosslit. That gave it the raised dot texture. I sanded it slightly with a sanding block so it shows the white core of the patterned paper.
The white petals are sponged lightly with Pumpkin ink.
All of these patterned papers are from the new Sweet Pea DSP pack - lovely patterns in that one!
Stamps - Vintage Vogue
Ink - Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Taken with Teal
Card stock - Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Old Olive, Sweet Pea DSP
Accessories - Extra Large 2-step bird punch, 1 1/4 circle punch, Word Window & Modern Label punches, sponge daubers, dimensionals, Pumpkin Pie corduroy buttons, Scalloped Heart of Hearts embosslit, Big Shot, Olive, White, Pumpkin & Chocolate narrow grosgrain ribbon, sanding block
Sorry........I clicked on the wrong comments LOL...I meant the previous comment for the desktop calendar. This is cute too.....love the colors you chose.

BRILLIANT I tell ya! What an amazing idea! I haven't played with that punch a whole lot yet- thanks for sharing your ideas. And I am so stoked waiting for your little teaser about your husband's idea to use the sweet treat cups. I've got boxes of them sitting here waiting.... no pressure! ;)
