It's a New Year, & the Catty Crew is off on another great Cruise. Come on board to see their fabulous creations!
It's just a short sail this time focusing on the Stampin' Up! New Occasions mini & Sale-a-Bration catalogs, so come aboard! You may have arrived from Becky Roberts amazing port - isn't she incredible? Such creativity in that woman!

I'm featuring the stamp set "Sweetheart"; a new addition with the Occasions mini catalog along with the Heart Treat cups.
It's winter here in ND & I'm needing bright & cheery, as you can see! Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo & Bermuda Bay with a splash of Whisper White.
The scallop flowers are punched from Whisper White card stock using our Scallop Circle punch. Then just cut up into the center a bit with your scissors. Lift every other petal. The centers are from the Buttons sizzlit cut from textured In Color cs. The In Color patterned paper behind each flower is part of the Sale-a-Bration paper pack called Welcome Neighbor.
The leaves & stems are a stamp from the Sweetheart stamp set - I knew I'd love that leaf stamp - it's perfect for all types of flowers!
See the little bird peeking out from behind the card? He's colored with our In Color markers & stamped on one of our small Open-End envelopes. These are a perfect fit for my 6 1/2 X 3 1/4" long card.

I cannot take any credit for this next idea - my awesome husband Andy thought of it!
It's a candy dispenser/view master card! Yep - you spin the dial & the candy comes out!
Now he did not design the card front - I will take 'some' credit here!
The colors are Barely Banana, Cameo Coral & Chocolate Chip - a wonderful, non-traditional Valentine combo. I love these cute little owls from the 'Owl Together Now' set. And yes, I did cut out the three little owls - it's not that hard & one benefit to cutting them out is that when you're water-coloring them, you can color outside the lines! The heart image is from 'Sweetheart'.
Here's an inside view with all 4 of the images you'll see when you spin the dial.
The complete inside of the card is on the left showing the candy dispensing. There is only one circle punched out of the entire inside Cameo Coral disk. The other three images on the right are what you see each time you spin the dial & before you get to the candy.
I'll be posting a tutorial for this in a few days, so stay tuned!

How about trying these Heart Treat Cup lollipops?
I added either cut ribbon pieces, gathered ribbon or punched 3/4 Red circles to the sticky backing of the cups & sandwiched two cups together.
It is a little bit tricky to get them completely full of candy. I cut a hole in one of the treat cups for the lollipop stick & glue-dotted it to the stamped image on the outside.
You do need quite a bit of adhesive - SU's sticky strip is best to really hold the cups together as the weight of the candy wants to separate them.
