I got my first new catalog order in the other night. I was so stressed! It was supposed to come on Thursday, but it didn't ship out in time so I barely got it late Friday. I haven't run that fast to the door to greet the UPS man in a long time!
I made the coolest project for my Down-line Team meeting. I saw a project like this on someone's blog & thought it would work perfectly to showcase some of our new products.
Don't you just love Baja Breeze with Chocolate Chip? It's a card-tote purse!
I used the new Stamp set Fifth Avenue Floral - the flowers are embossed in Chocolate Chip craft ink & clear EP.
Check out the Textured Top Note - (click on the picture to make it larger) it's from the SU exclusive Texturz plates 'SU Backgrounds1'.
And do you see the embossed flower on the purse clasp? That is done using one of the new Embosslits - 'Simple Flower'. (See it on the bottom right?) What great dimension it gives. It's cut out from Confetti White CS & then sponged with Baja ink with a sponge dauber.
See that cute button in the flower center? That is one of our new Corduroy buttons. They come in 6 colors - Kiwi Kiss, Kraft, Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie, Pacific Point & Chocolate Chip. (See how you can get a bunch of these plus more below.)
Here's the view of the purse open. It has two clear bags inside that hold full sized A2 cards & a matching pen also.
Below are the two cards we made shown a bit better.
I used my new, gorgeous Valet ribbon, the new Eyelet border punch along with the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set.
This project may be included in a class in a few weeks.

I've got a super deal for you - I've combined 4 of the new Spring/Summer catalog products in an Embellishment Share.
You'll get a great sampling of each of these neat products:
Corduroy Buttons - 3 buttons of each of 6 colors = 18 buttons
1/2 Library Clips - 6 assorted clips
Fleurettes - 1 of each of the 3 sizes & colors = 3 Fleurettes
Flower Assortment - 1 of each of the 4 colors = 4 brads
All this for just $14.00, which includes tax & shipping for my local gals.

What a cute idea! My DD (4yrs old) loves purses that would be something we could make together. Are those full sized cards? How creative and imaginative you are-if I lived near you I would definitely like to have that as a class.
