I held a similar class a few years ago and thought it was time to bring it back as it's just the best and most clever box of cards ever! I used our new, eye catching Bohemian designer paper.
It's a matchbox style box made from the thick white board in our designer paper packs. It will hold several A2 (or 4 1/4" X 5 1/2") cards and envelopes inside. Plus there's an separate area for tags on the side.
The reason for the separate tags is to give a few options for greetings depending on the need. The main cards are left without greetings on purpose. These little punched tags have dimensionals on the back so you (or the recipient) can peel off the backing and add the greeting! It's wonderful if I do say so myself and a fabulous gift, especially for a non-stamper.
This class costs $12 and is this Wednesday, June 24th at 4 or 6 pm but unfortunately it's full already. If you are local and would like to attend this class please let me know and I might schedule another.
***If you'd like the written tutorial please click hereand it will be emailed to you immediately upon payment. The tutorial includes the three templates to finish the box, measurements, supplies list and step by step photos in pdf format.
I also made another version of this unique box using the new Timeless Elegance designer paper. Holy cow; it this paper gorgeous! It is included in the tutorial above. Look:
It looks like a sepia or black and white photo doesn't it?! This designer paper is going to be a huge favorite for many of us; but especially if you like the vintage style. It's in Black, Vanilla and Sahara Sand colors; just soft and lovely.
Here's the front of the box:
I used a few of my brand new catalog products to finish it off. The new Stitched Satin ribbon in Black, the new Bold Butterfly Framelits and of course the pretty Timeless Elegance designer paper. All new favorites of mine!
Click on the photos below to see them in my Store.
Here is the video I promised you! Make the cutest box with just a 6" piece of patterned paper or card stock!
Above I used Crisp Cantaloupe card stock and ink before I scored and punched it using the Envelope Punch Board. Sadly this color has retired as it's on of the 5 In Colors retiring this year. I believe you can still get the card stock and ink but the refill is already sold out.
Click on the links at the bottom of this post to get to my store to see any of the products I used today or to see what's retiring. The list is huge and the savings are incredible. There are lots and lots of dies, punches and ribbons at 50% off! It's big and it's crazy good.
We're making these beautiful cards at my next Stamp a Stack!
Aren't they pretty?! I love each of them and seeing them all together like this I see how unique and pretty each one is. There is a nice variety from sympathy to baby to birthday here.
We're making 2 of each card for a total of 12 cards. Class is held locally on either Tuesday, April 28th at 6 pm or Saturday, May 2nd at 10 am. The cost is $17.
Even if you live outside of my area in ND you can make these cards! You have two choices; purchase the tutorial only for $4.00 or the complete kit to go for $25.50. Use the drop down arrow to choose the complete 12 cards kit.
The written tutorial will include photos, measurements, supplies and how-to tips. It will be sent via email in pdf format soon after payment.
For the complete kit to go you'll receive the pre-cut pieces, accessories and die-cuts but they will not be stamped to comply with SU's policy. The directions and supplies list will be emailed to you and the cards kit shipped out around May 5th.
This is one of my favorites as it's a unique fold but very simple. I used the Petal Potpourri bundle, With Love & Sympathy and the Something Borrowed designer paper.
Here's a close up of the pretty card using the Love is Kindness stamp set with Back to Black designer paper. Strawberry Slush with Black and White is an eye-catching combination.
I saw a similar card on Pinterest and had to make one!
I used the retiring 'In Colors' of Coastal Cabana with Pistachio Pudding. Remember to get them while you can; they'll go fast once the retiring list comes out on April 21st! And why not get them today while there's FREE SHIPPING!!!
I am sooo excited to share my latest big Scrap-booking class. Jane and I worked hard on these pages to make them easy but beautiful and eye-catching. Look!
There are twelve double 12 X 12" layouts included; one for each month of the year really. Some are themed but others can be for any event you need. We included some punch art, Birthday, Christmas, Travel and Thanksgiving pages. You'll be so proud to have these gorgeous pages in your scrapbook!
At this event we will also have some open tables for local people to come and stamp or scrapbook with a potluck on Saturday. Contact me to reserve a spot!
I will hold the local class on March 28th at either 10 am or 3 pm. There are just 6 spots left at 3 pm. The cost is $35 for all 24 pages. I am offering a kit to go for just $40 plus shipping of $7.50. Please let me know if you'd like to attend or if you want a kit to go by March 12th. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
The kit to go does include all card stock and supplies with everything punched, textured or die-cut. It does not include stamped images as that is against policy.
The class includes the written tutorial that has measurements, supplies lists and tips for each layout. We used all Stampin' Up! products here; most of them are current products. Order the written tutorial on my shop here for just $7.00.
