I was inspired by my friend Frenchie to make this frame. She is genius! Look at this:
It's a 7" X 14" frame I had on hand that I originally purchased at the big box W-mart store. I stamped the trees on our canvas paper. Did you even know we had canvas paper?? It's on page 192 in the big catalog. It gives the images a realistic 'painted on canvas' texture.
I folded the canvas gently in half and marked a dot with a pencil; then folded each side in half again and marked it again. This sectioned off the entire 5" X 12" piece so I could stamp the trees evenly across.
I stamped each of the tree branches first in Early Espresso ink then each tree was stamped for the seasons.
- Winter - Soft Sky and Pool Party classic ink. I also added 2-way glue and Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the tree and hill
- Spring - Pear Pizzazz for the hill, Blushing Bride and Strawberry Slush for the leaves, Soft Suede for the swing
- Summer - Mossy Meadow & Wild Wasabi. The bike is in Soft Suede & Real Red. Flowers with markers.
- Fall - Hello Honey, stamped off once for the hill and again with Suede; also stamped off. The leaves are stamped in three colors; all stamped off first - Hello Honey, Tangerine Tango & Cajun Craze. The rake is stamped using Soft Suede.
If you love this stamp set you might want to get the Sheltering Trees class to go. Read about that option here. Get back to me soon; deadline on it is Monday the 26th! Here are three of the cards in the cards kit:
