Easy Events - April's Class to Go

Creative Elements 4 Sheet Wonder

It's been awhile since I made a 4 Sheet Wonder.  I thought the Creative Elements stamp set would work wonderfully for it. 

What is a 4 Sheet Wonder?  My husband & I created these 4 templates years ago and I still love making cards using them!  It's the fastest and easiest way to get 10 quick & beautiful cards done. You know why?  No planning layouts or measuring - the only decisions you have to make is to choose your stamp set and then your colors.

First you print out a template on one side of a neutral sheet of card stock and then stamp the other side with various stamps & coordinating ink. I chose Regal Rose, Melon Mambo, Early Espresso & Crumb Cake with Vanilla.  After stamping the entire piece of card stock, basically making your own designer paper, you will then cut on the dotted, printed lines on the other side. Each piece has a number on it from 1 - 10.

Next you'll print out 3 other templates (A, B & C) on 3 different colors of card stock.  Each of these templates also have numbers from 1 - 10.  You'll cut these out and start making piles of cut pieces from 1 - 10. Then all you need to do is put them together adding border punches & ribbons as desired. I stamp tags or greetings last. One customer told me it's like making 'cards by number'.

Apothecary Art Class to Go

Snow Much Fun Class to Go

For December the Class to Go features the Snow Much Fun stamp set. 

The images in it are so adorable and I have really enjoyed using it in the last few months.  I think it will make wonderful Thank You cards too.

Love this card!  The color combination of Wisteria Wonder and Pear Pizzazz along with the textured/punched window make it pretty cute.  

Here's another window-type card.  Real Red, Black, White and Pool Party are the colors.  I used the Postage Punch for the windows.

Stitched Stockings Class to Go

For November the Class to Go stamp set is Stitched Stockings.  

As you can see, it's not just for Christmas!  I wanted to show the versatility with some of my cards this month.  The colors are White with Wisteria Wonder.

A little punch art on this card turns the stockings into ice skates using our Silver Glimmer paper and the Bird Builder punch (it's the leaf stem).  Here's a close up:

Clever isn't it?  Unfortunately I cannot take credit for this idea.

And I had to do a masculine birthday card too.  Those socks remind me of the old fashioned argyle stockings men used to wear - or do they still??

Gently Falling Class to Go

This month's Class to Go features the Gently Falling set. 

I actually hadn't planned on using this set for a Class to Go but had some requests to and am I ever glad I did!  I have never had such an easy time creating my cards.  To be honest it normally takes me days to figure out and complete my Class to Go cards.  These were done in one day - almost one evening!  Crazy!  So that just shows you how easy it is to make beautiful cards with this set.  Honestly; they were a breeze!! Notice the pretty texture on this one?  It's a brand new embossing folder coming out in the Holiday mini catalog in September called 'Snow Burst'.   I used a jumbo white brad for the snowman's 'belly'.  Also note the textured frame around the large oval image.  That is made from the new designer embossing frames in the large catalog.

This is a card I received from my good friend Susie Wood at Convention.  I loved it so much it had to be one of this month's cards.

Delicate Doilies

I just mailed out the Delicate Doilies class to go to everyone last week.  I was lucky that my husband took the afternoon off to help me sort and bag up on Sunday.  It is so much more fun (and faster!) when you are working with someone else.   Although I am pretty sure he doesn't call the punching, sorting, bagging and Big Shot work fun.  

This one was quite a popular stamp set for my Class to Go!

 I have to share one of the last 2 of the Delicate Doilies cards from July's class to go. 

I think it's so pretty with the lace border made from repeatedly stamping the smallest doily.  And the 'Perfectly Penned' greeting fits the Doilies stamps wonderfully. 

Rich Razzleberry and Crumb Cake are the colors I used. 

August's Class to Go is the Button Buddies stamp set.  I'll show you the preview of those cards later this week. 

Delicate Doilies Class to Go

I am soooo late getting this month's class out to you all.  Sorry about that! 

Doilies are all the rage now and Stampin' Up! is right on track with it. 

I already showed you one card I am featuring in my July Class to Go.  Here it is again:

It features the Decorative Label frame punch trick.  See how to make this frame here.

Although in my Classes to Go, I do the punched work for you so you'll get the frame already done in your kit. 

Next up is a soft and pretty card.

A beautiful combo of Pink Pirouette, Black and White.  Remember that all of the punching and textures are done for you!  I even pre-tie your bows!

Next up is a Baby Swipe card.  I wanted to show you an unusual yet striking way to use your doilie stamps.  I will make your baby swipe glossy card stock for you so you don't even need to do the technique.  I used Melon Mambo, Regal Rose and Pumpkin Pie ink and card stock.

Flower Fest Class to Go

I did find (make) time to create this month's Class to Go.  I chose the Flower Fest stamp set from the current Summer Mini catalog.   It's a great set that is quite easy to work with - the images are fabuilous!  ****See below how my Class to Go works.

This is a simple but adorable card that could fit any occasion.  The colors here are Wild Wasabi and Pretty in Pink.

Such a fun and easy card!  Did you realize that many of the images in this set coordinate with our current punches?  This is Elegant Eggplant and Whisper White.

You know how I love pink and orange together.  This color combo just makes me happy!  Melon Mambo with Peach Parfait plus Artichoke and Whisper White.  The saying is from another Summer Mini stamp set called 'Happy Greetings'.  It's cased from Julie Beltramo and our SU website Stampin' Connection.

Strength & Hope Class to Go

Woo hoo!  It's May 1st and we finally get to order from the new Summer Mini catalog!  I know everyone's been waiting for it!
