And here is one of the cards we did this month at my Card Clubs.
Soft Suede & Vanilla is such a gorgeous & rich color combo! It's hard to see, but we used the Champagne glitter from the Fine Galaxy glitter stack on the tree & snowflakes. I tried to get a good photo of this beautiful golden bronze glitter, but failed - take my word for it - it's amazing!
Here's the template I made to help you figure out the scoring & cutting measurements. It's not that hard - really!
First score the 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" piece of card stock in half at 4 1/4". Then place this piece in your cutter with one edge 2" from the cutting mark. Cut from 2 1/4" to 7 1/4" - (or 2 1/4" from one end & 1 1/4" from the other end). This is the only time you cut - the rest is all scoring.
***All of the remaining scoring is on the wide side of the cut.
Score at the 1 1/4" mark across the wide side (3 1/2" wide). Then score two more times, every 1" until you get to the original 4 1/4" or middle of the card score.
The last score is 2" from the middle score of 4 1/4" - so it's scored at 6 1/4".
Card stock - Soft Suede, Very Vanilla & the patterned paper is from the Bridesmaid specialty paper series
Ink - Soft Suede
Accessories - 1/2" & 3/4" circle punches, wide oval & ticket corner punch, vanilla taffeta ribbon, Fine Galaxy glitter - Champagne, 2-way glue, dimensionals, cutting tool with a scoring blade
