Here's another card we did in Sepember at my Card Clubs.
Stamps - Autumn Splendor
Ink - Taken with Teal, Chocolate Chip, Really Rust & Apricot Appeal
Card stock - Chocolate Chip, Taken with Teal, Glossy white
Accessories - sponge daubers, wood sheets, 1 1/4" circle punch, wide Chocolate grosgrain ribbon, chocolate chip marker, 1/16th hole punch, linen thread, Crystal Effects, heat gun
Here are the steps to make this card:
1. We stamped the Lovely Letters using Basic Brown or Brown Stazon ink first.
2. Then stamp the leaves in Taken with Teal, Really Rust & Chocolate Chip.
3. Use sponge daubers to darken the leaves with the same color ink you stamped them in.
4. Heat set the images on the glossy before doing the next step.
5. Use Apricot Appeal ink & a sponge dauber to lightly color the white glossy paper. Use a circular motion to lightly rub ink into all or most of the white areas. It's better to have to add ink than to have too much on your dauber.
6. Use a Chocolate Chip marker to fill in the leaf veins.
7. Tie a knot in your Chocolate ribbon & wrap around the card.
8. Ink the acorn stamp in Brown Stazon or Basic Brown ink & stamp onto a wood sheet. Punch out. Sponge the edge with Taken with Teal ink & color the acorns lightly with Creamy Caramel & Close to Cocoa ink. Tie onto the Chocolate ribbon.
9. Add a few drops of Crystal Effects to the acorns. Spread smoothly with the applicator tip. Let dry at least 1/2 hour.
