Happy Valentines Day!
I'm sorry I don't have a Valentine project to share with you today. Same old excuse; time. Besides keeping up with my classes & clubs, we try to unpack something each day, sorting into keep, donate or throw piles. Many items have been in boxes since the flood 19 months ago and we now realize we can do without much of it. My husband is quite sentimental (and a pack rat)- he saves everything he can! Unfortunately we have a big basement he can store things in. He has many, many hobbies and interests but I am thrilled that he is realizing he can part with some things now.
Okay; on to the stamping! I'll tell you a secret.... This was my least favorite stamp set in the Sale-a-Bration catalog. Why? Vintage is usually not my style! But wow, did I change my mind when using it?!!!
I made both of these cards in less than 15 minutes! I can sometimes second guess myself so that a card can take an hour to make! Pairing these stamps with the First Edition designer paper made the process smooth and easy. They just fit! The color of the two papers appear different here but that was just my lighting.
Also isn't the combo of Very Vanilla and Black gorgeous with these stamps? I love that they can be used for many occasions and for either men or women. Young or old; I think anyone would like these cards. So I'm convinced - this stamp set is terrific!
