We made this card at my June card clubs. Isn't it beautiful? I received one like it in our Disney swap ( I lost the original creator's name though!). I knew it would be perfect for my gals.
It's a fun fold card! I love the shadow box window that pops up when you open it. This idea came from another swap card I received from my friend Ann Clemmer. Genius!
The die-cut flowers are from the Blossom Party Bigz die and the stamps are from the Raining Flowers stamp set.
Here's a view of the main card before it's folded:
It's 5 1/2" X 12". Score it from left to right as follows: 1/2", 4", 4 1/2" & 8". Fold it into it's box shape first to get the idea of how it will lay. Add adhesive just on the 1/2" fold and press to secure.
I pushed my 1 3/4" scallop circle punch as deep into the card by the 1/2" folded end as I could and punched. Any type of punch would work here; use your imagination.
The card front measures 3 ¾” X 5 ¼”.
We stamped the greeting using White craft ink onto a larger 2 3/8" scallop circle in Melon Mambo.
If any of you would like to make fun cards like these but do not live near me you can join my Cyber Card Club. I have quite a few gals who live across the US who are members. All I ask is that you commit for 6 months and place an online order of $30 or more by the 10th of each month. Then I send you a pre-cut kit of two beautiful cards in the mail with detailed instructions of how to put them together. Easy! After 6 months you get a free stamp set from me from my stash of hostess and other new stamp sets.
