Elementary Elegance

 Here is what we made at my Card Clubs in February. 

I really like the Elementary Elegance stamp set (that you can get FREE during Sale a Bration!).  Because it works with our Curly Label punch it adds that extra fun element to punch up your cards.  I made one in Pretty in Pink and the other in So Saffron - they were able to chose their favorite at Club. 

We stamped the frame using Basic Gray ink and then punched the center out with the Curly Label punch.  This piece is framed by our Scallop Squares duo die-cut in Basic Gray and then placed on another patterned paper square positioned on the diagonal.

Behind that is a long curved trim piece made by placing two of our Adorning Accents edglits on a strip of Shimmer card stock.  Tip: You can place the edgelits further apart or close together before cutting, depending on how wide a strip you want.  We then ran it through the Perfect Polka dots embossing folder and sponged the edge. 

A length of Basic Gray satin ribbon is wrapped around this piece before adhering it to our full Shimmer card. We added a bit of marker coloring to the frame and of course rhinestones and Dazzling Details for a bit more glitz.
