Since I still cannot locate my camera battery charger I only have pictures to show you from before our evacuation. My camera doesn't even have a plug-in charger. I hope we can find it soon!
Here's another card I created for swapping at Convention. I used more of those many black Top Note frames I had leftover from cutting out 100 top notes for a card swap I joined.
I used the Baby Wipe technique for the pretty flower colors. Just drop a few drops of three different colors of Classic Ink re-inkers onto a pad of baby wipes. I drop about 3 drops of the same color in a close circle and continue to add drops of colors to fill up the surface. A thickness of 4 is usually sufficient.
I used Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight ink here.
Ink the stamp in the colorful baby wipe surface by pressing the rubber stamp in the same place a few times on the baby wipe. If you move while inking or twist the stamp over the surface you can get a muddy color. Then stamp directly onto your White card stock.
I also added a beautiful shimmer to the Upsy Daisy flowers.
I used the Illuminate Top Coat Smooch paint to brush over some of the petals. It's fun to use and comes in a bottle that looks just like fingernail polish.
- The sentiment is from the beautiful set called 'Word Play'.
- The little butterfly is a die-cut from the 'Beautiful Butterflies' embosslit.

love the card I hope you don't mind I would like to "borrow" your design for a swap I'm in

I love your card. Upsy Daisy is one of my favorite stamp sets. I also love your way of using the Top Note frame. I have a bunch of those leftover from one of my other swaps. I hope you don't mind if I copy your layout. (My focal image will be very different.)
Thank you for all your inspiration! And I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

These are lovely... I envy those who you will be swapping with!!! I am so glad you are going to convention and I hope you are able to relax a little and have some fun. You more than deserve it after what you are going through. If they had a Stampin' Up award for a survivor demo I would nominate you!

I love your card and hope I get to swap with you at Convention -- can't believe it is just next week! I think about you daily with a prayer that things will work out for you as best as possible during this extraordinarily difficult time for those in Minot.
