This is another stamp I ordered right away from the Summer Mini catalog.
It's called 'Sail Away' and it's another great single stamp option for just $9.95 US.You may remember that my husband and I love the ocean. We used to have a sail boat just like this one and had the best times sailing on the lake.
I cased this card from my very creative friend Lori Heiling. Here's hers.
It's called a Funky Fold card.
You start out with a 4 1/4" X 11" piece of card stock. I used my Fiskars cutter with the sliding cutting and scoring blades.
CUT: On each long side cut from 3/4" (or 1" works too) from one end up 5 1/2" or to the 6 1/2" mark from the end. Turn it over and do the same on the other side.
SCORE: Use this template for the scoring. The Red lines are scored lines and the two Black lines on the outside are the cutting lines.
***Ignore the faint fold line in the center at the 1" and 6 1/2" marks - mistake!
Here's a side view:
We're making this card at my May Card Clubs. I do have a few open spots on Tuesday, May 17th. If you aren't in any of my Card Clubs and would like to come, let me know if you want a spot saved. Minimum order is $25 or a $5 fee to make the two cards. And there will be drawings for free merchandise for those who place orders that night.
