I promised I'd show you how to make this cute Double Pocket bag that holds 2 or more A2 cards & envelopes.
Details on the cards are at the end of this post.
You need one 12 X 12 piece of double sided patterned paper for the bag. I added a bit of scalloped trim along the edges in Turquoise.
Measure in from two opposing corners at 5 1/2" & make a mark. Fold these corners in or out depending on which side of the patterned paper you want on the outside or inside. Then fold that in half matching the points on the end.
This is what you'll have so far.
Now measure 1/2" above & below that fold line & score or fold along both lines.
That's it! Pretty easy, isn't it?
I added a 1 1/4" circle punched from Rose Red card stock at the top corner under the ribbon/bows. This reinforces the patterned paper where I punched holes for the bow.
I did punch two 1/8" holes through all layers to thread the Olive satin ribbon through before I tied a bow. Now you're wondering how I tied bows on both sides...? I didn't. I tied a bow through the holes in the top corner on one side but tied a separate bow & adhered it with mini glue dots on the other side. You could just tie a knot through the holes if you do not like to tie bows.
The large scallop stamped in Turquoise on White card stock is a new stamp called 'Homemade'. It's a single stamp in the new catalog that matched our extra large Scallop circle punch! The Rose Red circle is a 1 3/4" circle punch & the 'my friend' stamp is from a new set called "Perfect Punches" in the new catalog.
The flowers on these cards was done with the Baby Wipe technique. Check out this post for directions.
And do you see the envelopes under the cards? I
inked the long multiple flower stamp in the Baby Wipe also. Love that multi-color look!

I probably use that pattern for my baby shower's invitation card. Anyway, your photos were a great help. I totally agree that tutorials are better with pictures and yours helped a ton. Great job!

Thank you for the tutorial! Your project is wonderful! Love how you used stitched ribbon for the flower stems. Also I've been waiting "forever" for that impressions folder and turn an unbecoming shade of green when I see it used - LOL!
