Here is the third example I'm sharing using this fabulous new stamp set - Awash with Flowers. Remember this is a Sneak Peak stamp set available in April only. It will be available in the new Catalog in July though.
This idea was cased from fellow Freak, Gretchen Barron. She comes up with the best ideas! It's gorgeous, isn't it??
The technique is Emboss Resist. Here's how I did it.
First I stamped the outline flowers onto Whisper White card stock using Black Stazon ink. Glossy card stock would also work well. Then ink & stamp the solid flower images using Versamark ink & heat emboss using clear embossing powder.
Use a few colors of Classic ink to sponge over the entire piece of card stock, covering all white open areas. I rubbed the ink in using sponge daubers trying not to go over each color much or you'll get mud. That's it! You may wipe off any excess ink with a tissue, but I did not need to.
- Stamps - Awash with Flowers
- Ink - Tempting Turquoise, Gable Green, Pixie pink, Versamark, Black Stazon
- Card stock - Tempting Turquoise, Gable Green, Pixie Pink, Whisper White, Black
- Accessories - Clear EP, heat gun, sponge daubers, Black gingham ribbon, Big Shot, Perfect Polka-dot embossing folder

i luv this! tfs directions. I just earned the set and haven't used it yet. THis makes me want to get it out!!

I really enjoy the subtle, yet extra "pop" that the swiss dot background gives this layout. Nice colors girlfriend!
