In keeping with the season (trying not to do 'everything' Christmas!) I wanted to show you these acorns.
All you need are two punches to make these. The Ornament punch from the Holiday Mini catalog & the large Oval punch.
You'll need to punch one whole Creamy Caramel ornament, just the top of a Chocolate Chip ornament for the tip & one large Oval in Chocolate.
I did straighten the bottom of the large Oval punch a bit just by using my paper snips, keeping it slightly rounded too. It just needed to have a straighter edge, in my opinion. I ran this piece through my Big Shot using the Texture Plates kit #4.
I sponged the edges of both pieces using Close to Cocoa on the Caramel ornament & Chocolate ink on the large textured oval.
I also trimmed the tip of the ornament 'hanger' at an angle.
Supplies Used:
Card stock - Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip, Ruby Red, Kraft, Autumn Traditions DSP
Stamps - Grateful Greetings (Holiday Mini)
Ink - Chocolate Chip classic & Craft ink, Close to Cocoa
Accessories - Ornament & large oval punches, 1" circle & Designer Label punches, Vintage brads, clear EP for the sentiment, narrow Chocolate grosgrain & Soft Suede polka dot ribbons, sponge daubers, Big Shot, Texure Plates kit #4, Chocolate chip marker for stitching

Toooo cute!
Thanks so much for another great tutorial!
